The best rating I can pass on is from my ex-wife who hired and fired him after he ran up her bill for over $200,000 and sent her to collections. "I can't believe I was so stupid!" is her story today. I hate to say it but I'm laughing. Once Jeff was out of the picture we settled but he screwed her over big time. Her story was on several websites--Google him at angiemedia, wordpress, and carpe dicta. If your ex hires Jeff-you're in luck--easy to defeat but you have to beat the hell out of him--his BS falls apart and the case collapses on them. Sad to say that this is standard business for some very weak lawyers. Tell your attorney to hammer him hard (concessions get you screwed with Jeff), run up the costs, and he'll bail on your ex as soon as she complains abou the bill (which won't be long).

Jeff embodies the tragic environment that our despotic divorce court judges and insanely ignprant legislators have created. Punish hard work, tax innovation, quell independence, but encourage perjury, reward theft, harm children and our community in the process. Sounds like a plan.

I hired Basie & Fritz 6 years ago. I needed an attorney who got filings and paperwork done. My case is complicated, and I was getting pulverized, until I went to Jeff. He is a pit bull, and that was what I needed to protect me. It costs alot of money to litigate any lawsuit, however I have paid one third of what the opposing party has paid. Delays are normal in lawsuits, so don't blame the attorney. I did alot of my own research and work toward my case, and when I went back over the court documents with a microscope and applied the arguments to the law - Jeff work is beyond superior. He did not miss a point. Legal issues and filings are extremely complicated, and Basie & Fritz has the ability to handle the real big and difficult challanging cases. I will be forever grateful to Basie & Fritz for sense of security I have gotten from their continued representation. They have gotten me the best of the best in experts to keep me well guarded. He is a bargin for what he does.

I hired Jeff and his firm following a divorce to enforce a contract. He gave the work to a junior attorney (Elisa Kisselburg) who I obviously paid to learn the local court system. Unfortunately about ten thousand dollars of the work was not even admissable in court and in the end the costs were over five times greater than first communicated. The outcome was in my favor, but his firms final charges were over ten thousand dollars over my best projected outcome. In light of that, the net worth had a negative value in my case. The case was projected to take three months but it appeared they worked harder to drag it out (took over eight months). In the end, it required my going to their office to request the final paperwork so I could take it to my ex-wife to sign. It was a bad experience and left me in a huge financial crises. You couldn't do much worse by closing your eyes and picking one out of the phone book.
