This attorney wastes the retainer fee in talking and "preparing" dragging a simple divorce. He is extremely "paternalistic" not taking seriously the requests of his client insisting "he knows what is best". When all the retainer money is exhausted, they begin to ask for more and more money. This drags the case even more as the client begins to look for ways to get more money... My ex had so much time that he was able to drain all our assets leaving me destitute. Geller and his partner Conrad failed to put a basic freeze in our community property accounts. My ex took out all our community money out of our accounts and from the HELOC of our home! When Geller saw that all my resources were depleted, he droped my case. This attorney didn't file the basic child support papers for me, went against my wishes to bifurcate, and I just discovered that in the initial divorce filing he, by mistake, marked the box that says I agree to pay alimony to my ex!!!

Not clear with strategy. Very vague with rates and fees. I was quoted a fee for the divorce. When it was final I got hit with an exorbitant surprise extra fee after my simple divorce. They tried to get more money out of me when I was at an emotional crossroads. It was very obvious that getting my money was foremost. What happened with the divorce was way down the ladder of importance. Incompetant assistant attorney as well. I am sure there are better choices. Do yourself a favor and find another divorce lawyer!
