Ruined my life forever in a divorce with children. I was assigned their "accountant" as my lawyer. A total incompetent moron. 25 tears later and I am still paying support of $800.00 a month. The interest on my child support is now approaching 100k in Illinois. Lost my drivers license, passport and ruined my credit. This place is a total rip off and their practices should be investigated by the Attorney General. They are scam artists. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE!!!

When you first sign up with these guys, they ask for your financial information. They basically check to see how much money they can get out of your for a retainer. They will make a ton of promises about being aggressive, being the best law firm for father's rights, and taking care of your issues. The truth of the matter is, they are known by virtually every law firm around the city of Chicago, every person working down in the Custody and Child Support Division in the Cook County courthouse, and those who have been their client as people that overbill than sue you for "breach of contract" if you don't pay them. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM. WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO FATHERS IN CHICAGO IS AN INJUSTICE AND SEVERE FORM OF INHUMANITY. PLEASE LET EVERY OTHER FATHER YOU KNOW THAT IS CONSIDERING USING THIS FIRM TO DO THEIR RESEARCH AND NOT TRUST THE RADIO ADS / BILLBOARDS ACROSS THE CITY OF CHICAGO.

This Firm is a joke!! I am just like most of the people who have commented in here! They Do Not care about you!! Money only! Beware!! I was told that they needed a $5000 retainer and would probably get money back. 3 months later after original assigned attorney left the firm because of they way they practice law, I received a bill for $10,000 over retainer. The will charge you $120 for every phone call and Email!!

Had a simple case but it was completely fumbled leaving me embarrassed and left out to dry!! The only thing this firm did aggressively was to bill me left and right, up and down! After being transferred from lawyer to lawyer, none of them could remember their promises but I still had to be charged endlessly. Just a dissapointing experience!

Hate money? Don't waste your time and hard earned money on these attorneys! Do your research and avoid Jeffrey Leving firm! You will regret giving your hope to these rats. Avoid firms that charge initial consultation fees and then play a game of charades with you while racking up more and more bills.

I had a very complex case and these lawyers were able to sort out the MESS FROM MY LAST ATTORNEY and get me a great deal. I think it was worth the little extra money to hire someone who knew what they were doing. I had a "cheap" lawyer before and I now know you get what you pay for. These guys are no nonsense and get the job done.

I have substituted attorneys but still received a bill from this firm. It contains the preparation of my previous bill as a charge of about 200 dls. Please please look else where for your legal counseling.

Anthony D. Augostino and Christopher Marx are part of the hoax to squeeze money out of fathers. I will never recommend these ****s. Be prepared to pay $1200.00 a month (depending on your income) for no results. You can do this**** yourself or find a reasonable attorney. Oh yeah, it cost another $400 to drop these clowns. The first guy pretends like he will work the case. A few weeks later, someone else is on the case. They all have their names on the bill with charges as if you say with each in every month. These is a money scheme. Don't be suckered too.

NIGHTMARE AND DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I wish I would have come across this site before I hired this firm. Absolutely horrible representation. Based on my experience with them it mirrors 90 % of these comments. Art Kallow was my attorney, he was not prepared, fumbled in front of the judge, was not familiar with details of my case. He lost a case that all evidence showed was a no brainer. We walked out of there with him not arguing or presenting any evidence I provided him. My 12 year old daughter could have represented me better. And then he had the audacity to send me a bill for $14K above the $10K retainer. Please, DO NOT hire this firm they are only out to take you for as much as they think they can. And that comment someone made was right, they bait you with all the things they can do, and don't do any of it. This was really a hurtful experience for me and my daughter.

I hired this firm and my attorney AF is the worst attorney ever never calls unless a payment is due all they want is money and more money over 25000 given to them in 5 months nothing has happened they make promises they dont even come close to keeping this is the worst firm ever

They told me a lot of bs on the phone so I would pay a consult fee and then they completely backed off their original stance and came up with a ridiculousness retaiiner of 40k and wouldn't even talk about results. Scam!!!!

What ever you do stay away this company does not care about you or your situation all they want is your money. I went in because my ex-wife makes twice what I do, wants child support & child care which does not leave me enough to pay my bills. They told me they were going to go after everything they could. They never tell you what there rate is they don't send a statement till your retainer is gone. Then they just drag it along by shuffling paper. They they tell you they are dropping you they take you to court so the money doesn't stop coming in when you say you quit that is the end, not with these guys. They are the epitome of what a bad lawyer is. They do not care about you After there help I now pay more had to pay for arrears and am about to file for bankruptcy. Bad Bad Law firm I am not sure how they are able to stay in business.

Hired this attorney to represent me in a custody case where the mother had previous criminal cases and was not fit to parent after her release. They sold me a "dream". Filed petition and failed to properly serve the mother and she won. After charging $40,000 to do nothing but file more paperwork. DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM!!!

I was married in 2005. In 2007, due to my x wifes immigration status, was sent to Mexico along w my 2 kids. 22 months later she returned back to the U.S. After supporting her she decided she liked living off me. I had a very tough case and an incompetant lawyer. I hired Jeffery Leving's firm and within one month my case was back on track. Two months later I had custody of my daughters and my wife was paying me child support. I never had any problems with this firm and was always treated in a professional matter. My lawyer really knew what he was doing and I think that is because all this firm does is divorce and child custody cases so they are experts in the field. I would strongly urge anyone looking for a quality lawyer for divorce or custody to contact this firm.

I agree. This office is best equipped at wasting time and running up the fees for busy work. I went with them too because of Levin's talk but his talk is cheap and their services not worth the price you pay. My lawyer didn't do anything he said he would. They actually have prolonged my litigation by their actions. Wasted money, overcharges and time. When I tried to consult management they didn't return my calls for months. STAY AWAY. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Jeffery Leving is nothing more than a commercial on tv. There is nothing of substance within the firm. They live off their commercials, and are fear mongors. They use fear of losing visitation with children. They do NOTHING to back up the hype. It is a waste of time and money. Don't be dupped by this firm. They hire a bunch of dead wood. The up front speal is good, rehearsed and backed up by nothing. They life off the expense retainer, and then disappear when they have to actually work. Stay clear of this one. We had lots of problems, but could not contact Jeffrey Leving, he was on tour.

Hired this firm for divorce as a respondent, based on the name and reputation, No child custody issues here only property division, my case has been through three attorneys at the firm and now I am in debt almost $25k! Very disorganized ! Not divorced yet, all they do is turn the money wheel on you. I discourage anybody from hiring this firm. Do not contribute to the bogus ads this firm has to pay for, that you hear all over the radio!
