Bray was disbarred in April of 2015 after a history of fraud, horrible work product, forging his clients names to court documents, not showing up in court, multiple sanctions and two previous suspensions by the State Bar. That it took so long for the State Bar to act against him is deplorable.

I do not understand why Mr. Bray has a poor rating. I found quite the opposite - Mr. Bray has helped me on many occasions, and I was extremely satisfied every time

Keith Hammond Bray, Keith Bray, HAS BEEN SUSPENDED THREE TIMES and IS NOW SUSPENDED FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW IN CALIFORNIA for five severe misconduct cases and failing to pass the professional ethics test he was ordered to take by the State Supreme Court. Go to the California State Bar website, type in his name and you can read all the FACTS as determined by the State Bar, of his malpractice and ripping off his clients, failing to show at trials, forging his clients' names repeatedly to court papers, giving a bad check to a client, writing himself a large check from money dedicated to a couple's renovations, and on and on. For him to post on this review board that IT WAS ALL HIS CLIENTS' FAULT is just more evidence of his absolute refusal to take resonsibility for his huge injuries to people.

To those of you that have written on this website and who complained to the State Bar. If you are a client (and some of you are not even clients) your cases were taken largely because you had little money, even some your checks bounced, and I was ignorant enough to consider inviting your drama and chaos into my life, much of which I am certain you are experiencing now as chaos and drama follows you wherever you go. I failed to draw boundaries such as sending bi-weekly invoices, I answering you daily telephone calls, and allowed you to run your bills run well over $10,00--a failure that gave you power to act immoral and enable you to actually believe the "fictions" written. Again, I challenge you to provide your name and case number as I have all of the evidence to counter your statements. Be bold

Keith Brey destroyed my life. He took all my money and ran. I was unable to get a hold of him for months, trying email, phone calls at home and office so many times I lost track of the count. Meanwhile because he skipped out on me I missed three important court appearances that he was suppose to tell me about. Because I had no representation I lost all my spousal support ($2000 to $0) and was found in contempt of court. I also lost my settlement. I'm disabled and now am living on $500 a month. Even with a new lawyer major damage was done at a critical time by Keith Brey which can not be rectified. I am thrilled he is disbarred. It's what really bad lawyers deserve.

This guy forgot to have opposition served by mail So he wasted an entire day Any first year divorce lawyer knows to have the respondent served He misspelled names and generally was unprofessional in his brief -J Cummings

very deceitful flaky guy, horrible work product, doesn't even seem to try to do professional work or even reach him.Should have checked him out at the state bar website for those misconduct cases before I hired him.Fortunately, I hadn't paid him alot before I fired him. Report him to the State Bar - that's the only way to weed these bad ones out. And you can get reimbursed from them if you get ripped off. I saw that information on the state bar website, they have a fund and they also force the bad ones to make restitution or lose their license.

California State Bar Court is now prosecuting him in FIVE misconduct cases for abandoning clients, not showing up at hearings or trials, forging client's signatures to court pleadings, failure to perform competently, failing to return client phone calls, etc. Go to California State Bar website, click on his record, you can read the charges against him.

I had to remind him of court appearances and keep my own records, despite the fact I was paying him. I am so glad I got rid of him and hired a much better lawyer. He is the not dependable and can mess up your case!!!! I understand why he has a pending case!!!

I should have checked this rating system prior to hiring Mr. Bray. I am in the same boat as the other two clients who find him non-existent. He is also being sued for the same thing "failure to communicate" with this clients (google him, you will find a link). I paid him during the latter part of 08 and here I am still not divorced. What a waste of space he is. Completely useless!!!

Mr. Bray helped me with my son even though I was unable to pay him for months. He helped me get my life back on track, and he is not one of those maniacs that try and create more havoc. He was always up front and stated that he is a "family" advocate and not a "client" advocate. I knew that my son would not suffer as much after I heard those words. Also, the judge seemed to like his very reasonable approach. The other attorney would scream and was unreasonable. At least my experience was a good experience.

he is non-existant and his assistant is just the same. he took my money, made false promises, and i still am not getting child support and my divorce isnt final. what a waste of my time.

Mr Bray is a very excellent attorney. He helped me and my children get a good award and take custody away from my abusive ex husband. Noone else could have done this so well

I'm unable to get in touch with this guy after 20 + attempts. I don't know what's going on with my case and am very frustrated and upset.
