I’m saddened to see that I’m not the only one who had to deal with that disgusting, self righteous man, Berger. He questioned me about why my sudden interest of a debt that I thought was paid off, like he was supposed to take my state taxes. He kept cutting me off. I asked him to stop cutting me off so that I can ask what I needed to figure out why my loan balance payments only paid 10% of the original balance and why I owed so much. I never even got a chance to asks what the interest rate was. He told me to stop lying to myself and tell him the truth about why I care?! I asked him why I would have to lie, he’s not my father, so he responds thank god, because his kids pay their bills. Okay, that pissed me off and I loss my cool and cursed him out. He also called me sir after I asked him to stop ma’am-ing every time I try to speak. He was disgusting, but he’s in PA. I’m sure his classist, arrogance is approved there. I will not continue with them and have my loans consolidated if I can.

He is rude, arrogant, nasty and karma is going to get him. He is nothing but a fraud and should not be practicing Law. He is going to get everything he puts out. I want spit on him if he was on fire.

Ed Berger is the rudest lawyer ever, he puts women and men down and insults them . He is not worth anything, he should not be a lawyer his actions are very poorly , its ashame we as americans have to deal with people like him. You did nothing but insult me Ed Berger . I meet lawyers and deal with them and you should take a look at who you are as a person . I feel bad for you. I will pray for you .

Berger was somewhat rude and his legal fee percentage went from 15% to 40% of my student loan ,which he claimed was an oversight and readjusted it. However, he worked with my situation so my school did not get a judgment against me that would have showed up on my credit report. And accepted a somewhat reasonable settlement offer.

I was part of a winning class action lawsuit against Gordin & Berger because of Edward Berger's unethical collection practices on a loan from Phila U. His attempted thievery not only cost me money but has severly hurt my credit. Although I won some money, my loan went to a judgement status on my credit because of him, and now I can not remove it from my record.
