He is not a very tough lawyer. Heck of a nice guy. He is more of trying to work out a deal rather than fighting for you. He does the job and will work for you and do his best to work out the best deal for you.

While a very nice fellow, he may be too nice. He's easily overpowered by the opposing attorney and won't fight (litigate) for you. You basically, represent yourself. At my first conference, the opposing attorney and I did all of the talking. Later, when the final settlement was reached, he would have allowed me to sign an agreement that would have cost me significantly more $$$. I HAD TO BRING THE ISSUE TO HIS ATTENTION AND HAVE IT CORRECTED BEFORE SIGNING.
