Response: It is personally disconcerting and professionally damaging when individuals with personal or professional vendettas are allowed to anonymously post reviews on web sites giving false and intentionally damaging comments about another individual’s professionalism and capabilities. It is careless and irresponsible for lawyerratingz.com to allow postings of this nature without a case title, index/docket number, court reference, and most importantly a signature attached. Attorneys throughout their career will accumulate adversaries, some bitter, and this “review” can certainly be attributed to that type of character. I have throughout my lengthy and successful career as an attorney taken pride in my professionalism and diligence. If anyone is considering using my services and questions my ability due to this post please call me and cite it, and I will give you a free consultation so you can make up your own mind concerning my abilities and approach to my clients.

In my opinion, Mr. Atlas's persistent lack of communication and failure to convey important information, such as a settlement offer, in a timely manner, is egregious. I have learned that Mr. Atlas's lack of knowledge of certain areas of the law cost me tremendously in the opinion of other lawyers. I have to wonder why Mr. Atlas, unlike other lawyers, did not consult other attorneys in areas that were not his specialty, in order to protect his client's interests. The dislike I heard expressed by at least one judge for Mr. Atlas can sure screw up a litigation. The dislike and disapproval of Mr. Atlas I have heard expressed by other lawyers who have worked with him or opposed him, may hinder settlement negotiations and make things so much harder than they perhaps need to be.
