When I first met with Brent, he seemed very knowledgeable and tenacious. However, as the case progressed, he never returned a single phone call. I never spoke to him on the phone one time. Often, his assistant would return my call, but would not have any of the answers to my questions. Many questions went unanswered. I tried to communicate via e-mail, but those e-mails were responded to also by his assistant, who as a paralegal, could not legally give me the advice that I desperately needed in my messy divorce. At $250/hour, I expected to receive better customer service than this! My divorce was finalized many months after our temporary hearings, although there was nothing accomplished during this time period. I had to call and ask them to schedule the final hearing, concerned that I had not heard anything from them in months. Then, a month after the final hearing (which was defaulted), I still did not have a decree in my hands, and (surprise) could not reach Brent to discuss it.
