I am filing my complaint due to the inaction, and lack of response to my phone calls. I felt I had not exhausted my paid in full balance of $1,000.00 just to have only met with Mr. Sullivan three times, to have only talked to him on the phone for a total of 33 minutes, and what “lengthy” times I called his office phone number were to his secretary or voicemail. I will NOT recommend Mr. Sullivan for future clients.

We used Mr Sullivan when we were faced with an impending bankruptcy years back. His office staff was very helpful and took care of issues as quickly as possible. Mr Sullivan was able to pull strings during court which helped us to get in and out quickly. We were very pleased with Ceburns office and would recommend them to anyone else i the same predicament.

I was appalled at the poor service I received from Sullivan. I had to constantly remind him of the facts of my case and then he basically settled the case without consulting me first.

He absolutely needs to be disbarred. He represented a friend of mine and refused to return his calls, etc. My friend switches lawyers and did very well in his case. Sullivan is horrible and needs to be reported.

I wish I would have read this post before I paid and hired this terrible excuse of a Lawyer. I too provided him with all of the information that he could possibly need to when a case for my ill father. I am retired from the military where I served as a Law Office Manager and trained over 7,000 Attorney's and Paralegals. If one of my Attorney's treated a client like Mr. Sullivan they would not only be fired, but disbarred from practicing law. He doesn't even have the decency to return calls, but he has no problem with taking your money and spending it before he provides anything that would resemble legal services. I would suggest that anyone who has rated this Attorney file a formal complaint to the Tennessee Bar Association. Now my father is in a nursing home with absolutely no funds to provide for his care, because this attorney failed to delivery what he promised.

I had the exact same experience as the gentleman who posted on 10/21. He took my money but did nothing for my case. I had to remind him the day of court what we were going for! I kid you not. He is ill prepared and will not fight for you. In fact if there is a custody case he believes women should always get the children, meaning if you are male you are throwing your money away.

Stay away is all I can say. I gave this man all the information possible that I felt could win my case. He never reviewed the information nor did he try to use it in trial. The morning of our first trial instead of reviewing our case we spent that time filling out financial documents that we had filled out earlier in the week. He was very disorganized, disrespectful and showed no interest in the case after he recieved his retainer fee. He did not fight very hard for my case and in We never signed a formal contract; after releasing him as my attorney he never showed me any billable time and told me that all of the retainer money paid to him had been used up. If you are a man in a divorce case then the stay away from this man. You get what you pay for.

Mr.Sullivan seems easily distracted and is not much of a fighter in court. However, his biggest problem seems to be with an incompentent staff who never give him messages.
