I have known Ron Rockwell for many years. We trust in his capacity as an attorney in all legal matters. Rockwell has a very professional demeanor when you meet with him unlike some other lawyers I have met. He is very knowledgeable in various subject matters. And for this reason, he has became our "to go to" person when we have had any questions. He provides a great service to his clients. He is willing to meet you outside of his office when requested. He is thorough, honest and efficient in his work. He listen carefully to the needs of the clients. He will educate and guide the client in all sides. As well as he will suggested the best action to take in each scenario. And lastly, he has a great sense of humour.

Ron Rockwell just successfully defended my aunt, who had been accused of cheating on her driver's test. He did a brilliant job and her license was saved. He listens, he devises a strategy, and he is careful and flexible in executing it. I was extremely impressed by his technique and his ability to employ an economy of means and a truly pleasant personality in achieving his aim. I recommend him unreservedly to anyone with a complex legal problem.

Used Ron Rockwell for the better part of fifteen years. My company retains him on a monthly basis. He is a former police officer and sheriff and he knows the criminal process from the inside out. He knows what police do to try and win cases. He handled a CPS case for my general manager and he shut CPS up real good on a frivolous charge. He knows quite a lot about the law, he explains the process and what the case is going to entail well. He's always there in court or at a meeting when he's supposed to be...he does what he's supposed to do at the bottom line. Sometimes he's hard to get in touch with, and he won't call back all the time...you have to go find him. I often negotiate flat-rate-cases with him (which many lawyers won't) and they're cheap, but if the case is easy he collects the same anyways. One woman I referred to him said he was "expensive" but he quashed a personal injury lawsuit case by a "career plaintiff" where she could have lost her house. I recommend Ron Rockwell.

Ron Rockwell got my MIP dismissed. It took a while after several dates in court had to be moved. He would return my phone calls within a day, and he is very knowledgeable. He also did this for a fraction of the cost of other MIP lawyers in San Diego. Recommended from a college student.

Ron Rockwell... What I can say about him, he’s the most attentive attorney ever. He always kept me up to date on what was happening with my case, never did I have to call him for anything, he informed me, always. My case had to take 6 weeks but, took 4 weeks. I'm very happy to have chosen Ron Rockwell above every other attorney I could have chosen because, I can honestly sit here and recommend him. This layer did nothing for me, he came to court absolutely unprepared, didn't request the discovery documents from the district attorney,so he had no idea what the court based their decision on,was constantly disrupted by phone calls, he wanted my ordeal to drag on to milk more money from me.All he wants is your cash.If you want results,don't hire him

It seems that all the negative comments regarding Ron Rockwell were submitted by the same person. Ron Rockwell is a kick-ass top of the line lawyer that I'm glad I've had the honor of retaining because if it werent for his knowledge, contacts, and sheer skills in the courtroom I would never have gotten such a great deal in my cases. First off he's not a traffic ticket lawyer he's a top notch defense attorney or at least he was when I had retained him, if your paying the rates he charges for a traffic ticket then your just a moron to begin with maybe thats why he didnt give you the attention you felt you meritted. Ron Rockwell will forever be a lawyer I'll recommend to others and I have on several occassions if you want the best representation then he's the one you want.

HIS EASILLY DISTRACTED BY FOOLISH TALK AND GOES ON AND ON ABOUT HIS SHERIFF BACKGROUND.IN SHORT HE IS A PILE......THE ONLY THING HE RESPECT IS YOUR COLD HARD CASH$$$$.HE DID NOTHING FOR OUR CASE EXCEPT SHOW HIS FACE AND COLLECT OUR CASH. He helped me a lot and his prices were fair. He really went to bat against the injustice that I was receiving. I was referred to him by someone who also used him and spoke highly of him. He is a retired Sheriff's Deputy and knows both sides of the law. His knowledge is extensive and morals in the right place. Not something you can usually say for an attorney. I would recommend him to anyone.

I have known Ron Rockwell for over 20 years, and I must say that he has always been there to assist me with my legal issues, including a divorce hearing many years ago. He has a vast knowledge of the law and has never let me down. He recently assisted my nephew with his case for driving without a license and won. His fees have always been fair and competitive for the work being performed. I have worked in the legal field for over 25 years working with various types of lawyers, so I am very familiar the cost of legal fees and the varying types of legal service provided. I believe that Mr. Rockwell always provides the best service that can be expected with the amount of information provided to him by his clients.

Nothing but the best criminal atty in San Diego. A sentence that would have been up to six (6) years, Ron got it reducde to one (1) year. Couldn't ask for a more friendly, knowledgable, people person. His fees were within reason, several thousand dollars less thanthe competion.

Ron Rockwell is a disgrace of an attorney. He talks a great story in the beginning and emphasizes on all his contacts and relationships in the sheriffs department. He out right lied and said that he knew my arresting officer and that I would be basically paying him and not the courts. He never returned my calls and recommended I drive on a suspended license. Not only did I pay him but he did absolutely nothing for my case and I ended up paying all the fees I would have paid without him. He did absolutely nothing for my case and plainly took me for a ride. I want to warn all out there that this man talks a great story and should loose his license. Please contact the bars association and file an appeal, we need to get him DISBARRED. Do not use this attorney for any reason what's so ever!!!

Ron took my money and never appeared in court on my behalf to handle a traffic ticket. Now I have a collection agency after me and I am on the verge of losing my license. Thanks for nothing punk!

This "attorney" failed to appear on several of my traffic tickets and has asked for more money after we agreed upon a set fee. It is a shame that so many people have been harmed by him. I would strongly recommend that anyone who has a complaint against him immediately file a complaint with the State Bar by visiting www.calbar.org. Do not let this person get away with commiting malpractice any longer. The more valid complaints that are received by the State Bar, the more apparent it will become that this attorney should be disbarred. I am an attorney myself and I am in the process of filing a complaint. I would encourage anyone who sees this post to do the same if they have been harmed by Ron Rockwell.

"Ron rockwell" meeting this guy and putting my trust in him has been one of my greatest mistakes ever.in situations as such where its your freedom your fighting for you'd like to feel comfortable and confident about who you've hired for counsel, but unfortuantly all this guy respects is your hard earned cash.his client communication skills are poor from the never returned phone calls to the run about way he seems to discuss things in response to direct questions, as if he has no knowledge of your case.for what ever the reason may be, being to busy to discuss critical case information, including police reports and filing proper motions.if your looking for someone to sit in on your case this is most definately the guy, but your better off with a public defender.dont waste your money here.take your livelyhood alot more serious by not making the same mistake i've made!

He was a great lawyer up until about a year ago. Expensive as 2.5x the competition and has a less than success rate. Unless you enjoy traffic school and still paying a fine but getting it off your record he's the one. Other people I've referred to him have had been unethically taken advantage of and the ignored and unavailable. While.... I Rate Work Quality as a three due to inconsistency.

If you want to waste your money on a traffic lawyer - this is the MAN! Not only he was not prepared for the hearing, you can never get a hold of him and is very unethical towards his clients. You will only see this lawyer twice; first, when you pay him the attorney fees; second, is during the court hearing where he will only then ask you about the details of your case. What a class act, huh? Then, he will ask his own client to submit declarations for your own case because his too BUSY!? And if you help him out, he will NEVER pull through his end of the bargain. The state of California should cancel this lawyers license to practice law and have him practice taking clients money without doing any work, in which he is very good at! The only work he did for me & my cousin was carry our files from his office to the court room! That's what you get out of your hard earned money! Don't make the same mistake we did! Unless, you just want to WASTE your money.
