When an attorney is charging an hourly rate, they should be knowledgeable so as not to waste the client's time or charge exorbidant amounts for researching information. I was charged over $700 for Ms. Vincent to REVIEW my property settlement agreement. Most people pay less than that to have the whole document written. She couldn't answer most of my questions and spent too much time looking things up on the internet while I sat there paying her by the hour. I could have looked things up on the internet myself. BEWARE because once you sign the financial arrangements, she can take her time and charge you.
