Terrible Lawyer she was suppose to help me on a probate case for my deceased mother she took my money and disappeared never did any work on the probate case never returned my file and all my mothers important paper work. This attorney is a Theif and can’t be trusted at all. I paid her a total of 3000 for two cases! I paid 1500 for an employment issue was still fired after 15 years and she stole the other 1500 and never returned calls. Virginia favorite line is I lost all kinds of family due to Covid or she has Covid! Not to e trusted at all. I rated Virgina because she took my money and ran off with my money and did no work on probate case and I’m not the only Redon she has done this way!!

Ms. Hermosa took advantage of me exactly like the other reviews indicate. I had one visit with her in person and she wanted $2,000 immediately. I, in my angst gave her my credit card and she promptly charged me. I then had second thoughts and requested a refund of half of this amount, which she returned. And then she disappeared--countless phone calls later and attempts to call her with no response resulted in my having to hire another attorney who returns my phone calls like he is supposed to. I feel totally betrayed and realize she is nothing but a shyster and ready to take advantage of people who are at a low point. She has also taken advantage of 3 other people (found out about this later) I know by taking their money and not doing anything or as she indicated babysitting their case? What is that??? They got nothing for their money. End of story. SHAME ON HER!!

It has been almost 10 yrs since I hired this lazy, take the money do nothing lump. I was falsely accused by my ex and her cop husband of assaulting my then minor child.It could have been easily dismissed. She dragged her feet. did nothing, would not answer my calls etc. As I went to fire her she removed herself. The case was dismissed and my son has since come back to me and admitted to all. How she sleeps Ill never understand, I know I am not alone. She is a deadbeat

She was available to take our retainer but is never available to return phone calls. If you want to throw away your money, this is the attorney for you.

Mrs. Hermosa is great once she gets in the court room, however other than that she and her staff are impossible to get in touch with phone calls or emails are hardly if ever responded too. If you want to settle a case quickly don't use her.

I had a great experience with Mrs. Hermosa, knowledgeable and well respected within the judicial system of Travis County. Her assistant is friendly and always returns calls promptly. I feel safe and cared after, so I can get back to my life.

Mrs Hermosa took my money did absolutly nothing to my case worse I waited two years until I realize that she had no intention to do what so ever for me to get a increase of child support.I paid her over $2000. resulting one child become 18 to late for her. I lost because of her around $12.000 I made a mistake to choose her over the attorney i had.. If you want result and not loosing your money avoid that woman.

So was available to take our money and since then she has not returned any one of our numerous phone calls. We can't even get an assistant on the phone all we get is "she will call you back today" over and over and over.

For over 2 years she sat on my case and did nothing. When you call about status, you must make repeated phone calls and for weeks never get a return call. Finally after 4-5 months of no communication, her office staff then will contact you to make an appointment to see her to discuss your case. At the appointment she will tell you of all the other cases taking her time and why she hasn't done anything on yours. Then she will tell you she is going to do something with your case in a certain timeframe and then nothing happens. No follow through, nothing - then more months of phone calls that are not returned. The only thing good about her is she will work with you on paying the retainer, however, when she gets the payment in full then she does nothing. So do not waste your time, save you money, and go for the guys that maybe a little more pricey but will pursue the best interests of your case.
