Mr. Holland did an outstanding job on our case. He listened and advised us well. My wife and I are very happy that we followed his advise.

We went to Mr. Holland in 2007 to file bankruptcy. He told us to stop paying all bills we were going to bankrupt, so that we could pay him. So, being young and stupid, we did. We, in turn, paid him in full. For one year, my husband and I called his office many, many times, asking where our case stood (in the mean time, our credit scores were being hit with 30 day late fees every month). Teresa (his paralegal at the time) kept telling us, "It's on his desk, he just has a few more things to look at." Well, ONE YEAR LATER I finally had enough and called and asked what was up. The legal secretary who helped us (can't recall her name) was very apologetic and informed me that she was new and had had many cases like mine thrown at her as soon as she started! So we weren't the only ones he set aside! Finally, 14 months later, in Dec. 2008, our bankruptcy was FINALLY discharged! Our credit went from upper 700's to low 400's in that year's time. Save your time, save your credit. Go elsewhere!

I used Mr. Holland for my divorce and he was very kind and understanding of my situation. He was honest with me about my case and the possible out come. My divorce got very messy because ex was an idiot and Mr. Holland handled it promptly and professionally. From the first visit with him until the conclusion I felt confident because Mr. Holland was representing me. The matter took about 6 months to get through and Mr. Holland was there every step of the way. His staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of my case. When ever I had a question I could call the office and my questions were answered the same day. He fees were reasonable compared to some of the other attorney I spoke to, he was worth every penny. If I ever need an attorney again I will definitely us him again. I have recommended other people to Mr. Holland an they have told me how happy they were with him. I feel that he is the best attorney in the area.

Using Morgan Holland was the stupidest financial decision I've ever made. I hired him in 2005 with a $3500 retainer fee (cashed in my 401K to do it!). He was rude, cold-hearted, arrogant, and seemed bored with my case...but I chalked it up as rough bedside manner. I was hopeful, but then he wasn't returning my calls sometimes. Frustrating. Shortly after my first visit with him, I received an unexpected bill over-charging me for every phone call and things like the cost of driving to the courthouse, which is only a block away from his office! So, I received counsel from another attorney to write on his bill, “I’d like to take this to fee arbitration.” He never responded. Last week, three years later – he served me with a lawsuit! What an unethical jerk. He made $3500 off of me for doing $300 dollars worth of initial paperwork and now he wants to sue me three years later. I’d get fired for being this aloof and disorganized in my job! He’s a terrible attorney and a total rip-off.

This lawyer is unorganized and drags cases out for a very long time. This makes the case expensive for each side. I would tell anyone not to go with this lawyer.

A family member has not had a good experience with this lawyer to date. He files are disorganized (you'll be paying exorbitant fees while he looks for papers), he cannot tell you if something was "court ordered" even though he was in the courtroom at the time of the ruling(you'll have to pay extra to get that info yourself from the court), and "tenacity"...what's that?? I will be happy to change this review..if he changes his tactics and actually comes through with a decent settlement. But so far, my relative has spent a lot of money and he has received very poor service, very poor communication.

We were given bad advice, at an outrageous rate, with no refund of the refundable retainer fee - which was excessive.
