I didn't work with Jeffrey Cohen directly, but only started to deal with him after I raised up a dispute against the firm's billing. One can only tell a good business from a bad business by looking at the way they handle dispute. Ever since a dispute was brought up, the firm's strategy is to deny, threat and ignore. It seemed like they had forgotten that I was the client. I can't even start to express how disappointed I am with the firm's associate attorney Jared Xu, who didn't listen to my key concerns, failed to inform me about my billing, failed to communicate key court dates and my right to appeal. And to make things worse, the firm took the money out of trust, refused to take any responsibility for their mistakes and kept threatening me at every opportunity they got after Jared claim to spend an unreasonable amount of time and still lost the case. The amount of distress and grieve to go through this process with them was beyond excruciating. I would stay away from such law firm.
