Irving Solnik is a thief and a lazy lawyer! He charged me $600 an hour for telling me stories about how he lost his eye and about a red meat diet he is doing with his wife. He advised me to settle while I could have won my case if I went to court and he took 98% of the settlement cheque. Our first visit to court for questioning, he slept through the whole process!! He’s a total joke and fraud.

Spent hours compiling my case for this lawyer who accepted my legal aid certificate. When they got the history, he refused me as a client because he would have had to actually put some time into it. I wasted weeks and was left with no lawyer with an abusive husband whom was a flight risk with our daughter. The other reviews on here reference his "firm". the only firm I saw was his apartment and his wife/partner doing the work.

had a one hour consultation where he talked about his "war stories" entire time. Paid $5,000.00 retainer plus $750.00 for "consultation". Cancelled services following day. Took one month to get a refund. One hour ended up costing me $3,650.00. I accepted my loss and ran. Scam artist with zero value.

cost $10000.00 to do absolutely nothing. Would not recommend his firm to anyone. You start out thinking you are in good hands but soon find out you made a hugh mistake of hiring him. Too many mistakes and stalls so you have to keep paying for nothing. The worst service ever. Any person could do the work his firms does without the training.

This law firm lost my finacial records a week before my response was to be delivered. They also did not hand deliver a form which put my access case back months.This could be due to the fact that I was on Legal Aid at the time. Be careful, this firm sucks.

EXCELLENT services!!! I was very happy with this firm. Mr Solnik is very capable and has done wonders for me and my children. Also his staff is extremely wonderful. HE IS GREAT!!!!

Arguably the worst Toronto lawyer you can hire,lying lazy thief,just takes your money.I had a consultation with him,i explained the matter,he said we have a strong case as long as i can back it up.So i retained him at $5000, he charges $650 per hour which is a ripoff,forgot about my first court date and did not even send someone else to represent me, had to go to court myself,does not call me to give me options of what i want to do,I'm telling him what i want done,i paid and am doing his job myself,to top it off months go by and still did nothing for me,then asked if i will win custody of my child and he him said no after taking my money,he claims i owe $1300.00 for going to court to get an adjournment,what a crock,he should of sent someone else to represent me, also claims i talked on the phone for a lengthy period and is charging me retarded amounts when i have the calls recorded and also charged me an 1 hour and a half to sign a affidavit when i was there for a half hour the most.

I have found Irving Solnik to be an extremely knowledgable and highly capable lawyer for many fields of law. He is tough, fearless, a top litigator and negotiator and he always does whatever it takes. When I have him on my side, how can I lose?

Spelling errors and billing errors. Very meek and attempted to settle to avoid the tough work. Probably won't leave desk to accomplish anything. Charges were double the estimate with unsatisfactory results. Very dissapointing. This review is my opinion only.
