THE MAN KEPT ME OUT OF JAIL WHEN AN OVER ZEALOUS ADA DIDN'T WANT TO LET MY CASE GO. ADA KEPT THREATENING TO KEEP GOING TO DIFFERENT GRAND JURIES UNTIL HE COULD GET AN INDICTMENT, EVEN AFTER THE FIRST ONE NO BILLED ME. BRET KEPT THAT FROM HAPPENING. I WOULD, AND HAVE, RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE THAT NEEDS A GREAT ATTORNY

Great Lawyer!! I cant Thank Bret enough for his attention to detail, knowledge of the law, and staying very "on top of things". He had a way of always making me and my husband feel at ease and anytime he said he would call or do something or if I had any concerns or questions he was "On top of it" and following through with what he would tell us. I wouldn't want anyone I cared about or knew to ever use anyone but him.

Bret is the worst lawyer ever! I fired him after he told me to plead guilty and write an apology to the police!!! (I didn't need an attorney to do that.) He didn't listen to anything I said and didn't even believe me. What a jerk of an attorney! To make it worse, now he's suing me for $5,000 when all he did was reschedule my court date. When I asked him what the $5,000 was for, he said it was a "flat fee". He wasn't able to break it down because he hasn't done anything to justify $5,000. If you ever wonder why they call attorneys slim-balls, he's a perfect example!!! (especially with the hair!)

Bret represents my husband in our seperation. He refused to work with my lawyer to negotiate and mediate and was set on going to trial. I asked for nothing other than what the state requires for child support however, Bret wanted the dollars for trial that would help him and in no way help his client nor oour 3 children. If you want a lawyer to shred your ex spouse you can hire Bret, if you want a lawyer with a conscious, find someone else.

Hired to defend member of family and had witnesses in the hallway but would not call them to the stand. Refused to subpeona witnesses saying it was too far away and you can not subpeona anyone over 100 miles from where the court is, which is a total lie. You use a different form is all that changes. Did not object at all during court trial and only swore in clients family as witnesses and after losing the case immediately started quoting dollar figures for appeal and yet did not show up the next court day to file appeal. I rated this lawyer this way from personal experience.
