Talked a great game in the office, but was completely ineffective in the court room. My ex-wife violated our custody arrangement by retaining my kids in a foreign country. I had to work through the US State Department to get them home. I took her to court to have the custody arrangement revised so that she could no longer take the kids out of the country. Richard did nothing to argue my case in the courtroom, and let my ex-wife get away with multiple lies in court even though I had evidence to refute, which he declined to use. THe bottom line is that he had a strong case with months to prepare and was handily beaten by my ex-wife and her very junior lawyer who only had 5 days to prepare. He advised me to go to court and then did nothing to advocate my position, other than read the petition back to me while I was on the stand and ask me if the complaints in the petition were true. If you are looking for a strong courtroom advocate, Richard is probably not your guy.
