I would like to thank Attorney Bob Bernstein, Arthur Cortez, Sophie, and all the staff who work for Atty. Bernstein. Our family didn't not want to retain legal representation because of the bad name that comes attorneys but Attorney Bernstein and his office was a blessing to us. They were alway professional, answer every question and every call. My son was facing prison time, felony strike and registering as a sex offender. Attorney Bernstein saw the truth and did not compromise or sell my son out for a speedy outcome. He was willing to fight all the way. The outcome was no felony strike, no registration and no prison time. Arthur Cortez is a very kind man who feels your pain and gives you the assurance that your are in excellent hands. They never made any promises they were not able to keep and would let our family know the good and the bad of every detail concerning my son. We are forever grateful to the Bernstein staff. I would gladly recommend you. God bless you all!

hire mr bob well hes general manager name Arthur cortez promes to go see my relative the same day or the next never went a week pass went to visite my relative he doesn't know wo mr Arthur cortez is so call the # the he give me wen call voice and of course its full what kind of people does that he can look in the eye and lie even wen my family call he lie to them told my family the he send some one to talk to my relative hey! he dint have any problem goint to my home to collect my $$$ in the same day good thing i saw this reviews and stop wy no one does anything to stop this people i guess he pays hes taxes on time

I hired Bob Bernstein for a criminal case against my boyfriend whose was being charged with many bogus felony counts by the Brea Police department. They were suing him on false pretenses. I needed a lawyer ASAP and they took advantage of me. First you talk to a guy named Mr.Cortez who will make it seem like they are doing things. THEY ARE NOT! They did no research, they didn't look at the evidence, they barley visited my boyfriend to get his side, the office sent low rate 'lawyers' who look lost and first timers in court, then they give you scare tactics like claim the DA is coming after me, or that the county was very racist to just take any charge they give you. On the last day of court, the 'lawyer' that they sent stormed out ASAP! They want your money, they DO NOT do their jobs. They do NOT care about your case. Don't let them send you Ms.Denise. Don't let them send you Mr.Jeremy. All scammers

Barry O. a.k.a Bob Bernstein belongs behind the bars that he is sending most of his clients. He is a scammer. He will send his "case manager" Art Cortez to your home telling you he will give you outstanding personal service. Bernstein will talk via cell phone also blowing air about how great he is and how much work he will do. They have a contract crafted to basically get away with doing nothing. Beware of this man. He is dangerous. He has no intention of doing any work for you. He will not show up for court after telling you he will represent you. After retaining him, and being told he would be representing me, no one showed up for my arraignment, after I called they sent an assoc. who had no idea what he was doing. Afterward, they asked for more $ for a detective they wanted. Then they refused to do any more. I hired someone else thank goodness. they wouldn't refund any $, but withdrew saying I wasn't cooperating. Please contact me if you have had a similar experience.

Wow, I read these comments 1hr before the meeting. After a conversation with the case manager, we talked with Mr. Bernstein by phone. To this day, I have never met Mr. Bernstein in person. However, I was so impressed with what I hear that I hired Mr. Bernstein. I am glad I did. When my adult grand daughter was charged with 2 felonies, I was panicked. Mr. Bernstein and his team handled this matter quickly and professionally. I cannot speak for others, but Mr. Bernstein and his team gave me the feeling that they were taking a personal interest in my case. I felt they were truly concerned about her well-being. We are completely satisfied with the results of our case. I would not hesitate to hire him again. The case manager that works for Mr. Bernstein was especially helpful. He was available 24 hours a day, keeping us informed throughout the case. He explained everything in detail, which I appreciated. Again, I was completely satisfied with the results of our case.

This attorney is the worst of the worst. He takes your money and dosen't attend any of your hearing. He sends other lawyers that don't know anything about the case. He refuses to meet with his clients and refuses to talk to you. He has no defense for your case and continues it on and on. Until he is forced to come to court. Then he fails his clients miserably. After he looses your case he doesn't even show up for the reading of the verdict. He is unprofessional and uncaring. He was displicined by the bar in 1997 and was put on probation. But several other clients have filed with the bar and the better business bureau and nothing has been done to disbar the fool. But keep on filing complaints against this poor excuse of an attorney. And soon someone will have to do something about him. My nephew is 23years old and has been locked up for something that he didn't do for the last 3 1/2 years of his life. I paid this attorney 50,000. Y
