Horrible lawyer, charges alot more than he should for simple procedures. Not dependable. Before you know it, he is into you for thousands of dollars and you are trapped. Very poor representation at court. Makes promises he doesn't keep. I would not recommend this crook!

Jeff Hill was represented me on a modification and failed miserably. His bill was over $7000 for a simple procedure!! I had to write to the bar association of CT to get my file back! Avoid!!

I agree with the first two negative reviews. Jeff has a 'historically' good reputation but the best I can sort out, he is Jeff 'over the' Hill. He is asleep at the wheel, didn't attend to my case, is not available and provides inappropriate advice (when he provides advice at all). He then dumps you on one of his junior partners after he gets tired of your trying to get him to do any work. On top of that, his group practice places his clients in jeopardy because one hand (partner) doesn't know what the other one is doing. He doesn't go to court for you but sends one of his junior colleges who, once in my case, knew absolutely nothing about my case. You are absolutely not well represented by him. He gives lawyers a bad reputation. There are many better lawyers in the area. No matter how much you ask for advice and strategy, he won't provide any. He is a waste of time AND money. Worse, because he doesn't stay on top of your case, he puts you in jeopardy because of his sloth.

Used him as defense in a child support modification case. Poor results, did not litigate on my behalf then would not return my files for months. VERY expensive for work done. Filed complaint to CT bar. Avoid.

Hill has financial knowledge, however he is compromised with money only, he will compromise your legal rights and withhold information , miss court dates if he knows that there is money involved. I do not recomend this lawyer or its firm.
