Chris Spofford handled my divorce very well. at first, my ex-spouse agreed to a collaborative divorce. then, it got very confrontational. without Mr. Spofford's tenacity and thorough knowledge of the law, it cold have turned out badly. Mr. Spofford held the other lawyer's feet to the fire; he handled the child custody matter very well and I got what I wanted there. child support turned out okay too.

This attorney is not the one to hire if there is any discrepancy between the divorcing parties. Avoid him like the plague if you need an attorney to fight for you. He went into my temporary orders hearing with three manilla folders. The attorney for my ex had five banker's boxes. Guess who won? He is a nice guy, but grossly overcharges (he has been sued for this several times), doesn't listen very well and really doesn't care about his clients. It is far more important to him to look good to other attorneys. He doesn't return phone calls and he is not prepared for hearings. Do not use him if you want to win, or have any money left after proceedings.
