Walter T. Moore changed our address with the State Tax Board without authorization or permission, and cashed our tax return check. He claimed the joint return was part of probate property. It is not according to several other California Probate Attorneys. Moore filed a Power of Attorney for a person who does not speak or write more than simple English, without explaining what the document was. It gave full authority to the newly appointed executor. It is not clear that a change in executor was desirable or even desired by the widow. The new executor intercepted social security check and cashed it, signed over the family car for her own use, and refuses to repay substantial advances of funds. Moore's office staff does not identify themselves when asked for their names. Moore does not return phone calls or letters. Moore completed a Last Will for the widow, & Changed the order of 1st & alternate executors, contrary to instr. Moore did not list the contact info for either one.
