I read the other reviews about her fees and that was exactly my experience. Retained Mary originally with the intent of going to mediation and she convinced me not to pursue mediation but instead went to trial. The fees paid to her by going to trial wiped out the family savings and the settlement was no more than I was looking in mediation a year prior. When I could no longer afford her fees she went silent. Apparently the firm she is/was with just broke up over bonuses.

Mary Clark is extremely intelligent and very fair. She will give you an honest assessment of your case and steer you away from making bad decisions. The reason I gave her a 4 on communication is that she is very direct, which in my opinion is a good quality, but some people may like a softer approach. Personally, I think the honest approach is the best approach, and that is Mary Clark.

Although I did get a fair divorce settlement, this uncontested divorce was outrageously expensive. She kept it going to keep billing. Don't talk about your feelings with her, she will act concerned, calling you to see how you are doing, then billing you for the call...fyi, a therapist is less than half the price! Her followup is non-existent. My divorce agreement is not being followed and I am in need of advise...she doesn't return my calls.

Accomplished virtually nothing except excessive fees. Mary arguably made much worse a bad post-decree situation. I would never recommend her or her firm.
