Both a charlatan as well as a swindler, she will charge you for phantom work. Screams at her clients, and is unhelpful, uncommunicative, etc. Worst lawyer around. Will charge you thousands of dollars for no work to be done. Surprised she has not been disbarred yet. If you would like to lose your case and get ripped off royally by a shyster, by all means, hire Diane.

She will charge you for everything she can think of. Never return calls or e-mail. Always her asssistant. In court she act like a drama queen, playing with her hair and argue with the judge. No human value, she is in the business for money... has no work ethic regarding her relation with the witnesses she request in court. I do not recommend her and her assistant Me Fauvel. She is narcissic and like to talk about herself. I do not understand how come she is still in the business. Someone need to seriously investigate her work ethic.

I wholly agree with the negative reviews. She is inaccessible,makes endlesss mistakes on the most basic things, praises herself constantly but drags out a case and charges for phantom work. Stay away from this vulture. Her "soulmate? 2nd husband must have discovered the truth.They are in the process of divorce after 3/4 years.

I've dealt with many lawyers in my business life and divorce and she is useless. Will never return calls or emails but certainly knows how to charge for anything she can think off. Totally vain, delivers nothing and praises herself endlessly. Stay away. Money means everything to her.

Whoever wrote that she cares about her clients is absolutely insane. Brais is a terrible lawyer, not to mention person. She is terrible at what she does, will not represent you efficiently and will charge you for NOTHING. Overall, the most incompetent lawyer I've dealt with.

If you want to lose in court she would be the best lawyer for you!!! She is inefficient, she has no work ethics, late for every appointment and she has absolutely no concept of the law. I was with her and I not only lost custody of my children I also had to pay my ex husband child support and alimony. Her attention span is zero. She delays filing important documents however she is quite skilled in billing. I finally changed with another lawyer and he was absolutely flabbergasted to see what she charged me for the work she did which was absolutely nothiing. She is a terrible divorce lawyer.

This lawyer made mistakes on the simplest things: she has extreme negligence problems. It really makes you wonder how such a moron got through law school. She also tends to contact her clients randomly for no apparent reason in order to claim payment! Her work ethic is disastrous and she has difficulty comprehending basic legal concepts. I had to get another lawyer, who was outraged when he saw what Brais had been doing during her mandate. It is needless to say that I felt taken advantage of when I saw her invoices, which reflected in no way the services I had received.
