Refundable retainer paid up front in 2006 to be put in a trust for me, the client. Three weeks later I reconciled with my husband and sent a certified letter asking for unused funds to be refunded, as per the written contract. Excuses were made that they were waiting on the bookkeeper, phone calls were not returned, and I never got refunded any of the $4,000. It is now 2014. I am still married, my children are grown up, and I am glad I decided not to get a divorce. I feel bad for people who are vulnerable and who get taken advantage of.

Roslyn Stevenson handled my divorce with a very successful and satisfactory outcome. She gave me excellent advice and I was thankful for her guidance and counsel that she gave from our very first meeting. It was very accurate and saved me much time and money. She is very experienced and handled all issues with me, the opposing counsel and the judge in a professional manner. Ms. Stevenson is by far not only a horrible attorney whose knowledge is shaky at best, but one look at her when she shows up at court and you will be amazed. Her attire looks as if she robbed a good will store and I honestly don't think she brushes her hair. This animal cares nothing about families and what is right and only cares about lining her pockets.

She helped me with a very nasty divorce and was extremely knowledgeable in her field. She was also very helpful and very professional. We went all the way to trial and won thanks to her and her team. After dealing with her I can out with a friend and I would definitely call her again.

Ms. Stevenson took ownership of my terrible divorce. I am so thankful that she was able to solve all of my divorce problems. She was able to settle the case quickly and cost effectively. She had the best interest of my children. She made me feel like I was a priority and that she had my best interests at heart. I would highly recommend Ms. Stevenson

Ms. Stevenson represented me in my divorce and did an outstanding job. I'm glad i did not rely on reading these ratings as my case would not have ended as quickly and woul have cost considerably more. In addition, most of these bad reviews seem to be written by uneducated people. She was very communicative and tenacious when my exhusband wanting to basically cut me off from my children and all our money. I'm so pleased with the services her office rendered and i felt the fees were fair.

Took me for $ 7000 and now I need a new layer to finishe my 1 year divorce, am now taking her to court for my money.

This lawyer tried to get me in as a client in a divorce case that was only a few years old. She wanted $10,000.00 in retainer fees and another $10,000.00 for a so called forensick accountant lawyer. I am not even worth that much. Plus, I was later told she is a lier in Court and out of court and preys on the weak in taking all their money & drags the cases on and on till us clients have nothing left. Beware.

I hired this attorney to defend me against a ruthless ex wife that saw only dollar bills and evidently all Roslyn saw was the same. She charged me to the tune of nearly 8,500 to get nowhere in a "simple" modification of child support. Hell,even my ex-wife;s attorney was astounded by what she charged me Avoid her at all "costs".

This Lawyer is ruthless in her pursuit of getting the WIN, rather than telling the truth or presenting truthful evidence in court. We went against this lawyer, in a family law case, and information that was supposed to be forwarded from her to us by order of the court, never was, or was severely delayed. Stay away from this lawyer, she is a detriment to the lawyer pool. Ethics and Professionalism do not fit into his curriculum or methods of practising law. Society and families will be best served when this lawyer is disbarred for her ruthless practices to achieve his ultimate goal of the WIN, at all costs. Being buddies with Judges and the legal system is apparent in her case. We were devastated by the lies and false misrepresentations of the facts in court, knowingly on his part, laughing the whole way through as he did it. It's just appalling that her name is not on this list, and more so disgusting that she is continuing to practice law. Cases we read are the same as ours.

This lawyer does not care about family matters. She claims to be an Guardian Ad Litem but could care less about what's best for the child. All she cares about is money. Money for her and her client. Once her client or person she is up against appears to have no money she quits representing them. Rather then focusing on resolution and mediation she rather see the parties focus on finances first and worry about the children last. Who puts money before children???
