Hello. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Byron Bergeron today. I was struck by Byron Bergeron's generosity, expertise, and knowledge in federal sentencing guidelines, how the law works,and how the law sees things. He generously gave almost 2 hours of his time educating my family and I on the law, advised us in our situation, and graciously, respectfully declined the case based on his belief that the sentence was fairer than could be expected by the efforts of any lawyer and to take our money wouldn't be right as he didn't expect that it could be benefited through retaining council. Honesty, how refreshing! never asked for payment for this discussion. He is a Diamond in the Rough. I had called a number of lawyers prior to calling Mr. Bergeron and left messages. Those I called, have yet to return my call. Mr. Bergeron answered when I called and was so generous with his time. My family and I are very grateful for Mr. Bergeron, and wished we had found him sooner. Be blessed, Mr. Bergeron.

Byron Bergeron is not only a great attorney, but he also is so educated about the law and knows the system here in Nevada. I retained Mr. Bergeron for my 18 year old daughter who was facing some major misdemeanor charges that could of followed her for 7 years as well as would have impacted her future. He not only communicated with me every time I called, but he also gave me his time and attention to all of my questions during this process. He was dressed professionally and was early for court. He ended up getting one charge completely dismissed and the other was plead down to a minor misdemeanor that will not effect my daughters life at all plus there was no fine. We were prepared for court and was able to get in and out in minutes. He did not overcharge me for his services. I would recommend Mr. Bergeron for anyone that needs a criminal defense attorney as he is honest, up front, hides nothing, and is an expert in his field.

And they say nothing is free. I called Mr Bergeron about my current case. Mr Bergeron was straight forward with me about what to expect, and gave me advice about how he felt I should proceed.
What I WASN'T expecting was that he said he didn't feel there was value in me retaining him, as it would probably worsen my financial situation in helping me conclude my case.
Who does that?
Well, I can't say if he does this often, but I consider myself fortunate in having found him. His information has helped me towards a better outcome, one that I can't say I would of gotten if not for his guidance.
If you find yourself in a bind, do yourself, and your family a favor, call him before you make any rash decisions. He will let you know if there is value in retaining him.

Byron was like an angel in my corner. I was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge. To make it worse, I was traveling through Nevada on what was supposed to be a vacation. I resided two states away. Needless to say, Byron was very straight forward and comforting with me. He appeared for me in court for a pre trial conference and when the court date came, he got the entire case dismissed. We were out of there in less than an hour. He was worth every penny of a very reasonable retainer fee. I highly recommend Byron.

I visited 2 other lawyers before deciding on Byron. Byron is not your typical lawyer by any means. He is one of a kind. He tells it like it is. I always felt like I was getting the most down to earth explanation of my situation. I was originally charged with Felony child abuse and misdemeanor domestic battery, after meeting with the DA Byron had my charges reduced. The Felony became a misdemeanor simple battery and the domestic battery was totally dropped. I appreciate his honesty with me and most of all his ability to listen to me with all may questions. He always wants you to feel comfortable calling him and asking him anything. He is a man of his word.

Interestingly enough I also studied journalism, which is why I was initially comfortable with him, but this was a horrible experience with a shady guy:
He ignored my texts and phone calls even though he sold himself as unique because "I would never talk to a receptionist but only directly with him". He also showed up late to court a number of times which was quite stressful. He claimed that we would receive a partial refund if charges were reduced...this never happened and when questioned about it he ignored me again. All around over priced and not a big bang for my buck. He didn't even appear engaged in my case. I didn't feel like he was interested in proving my innocence at all but rather making the least amount of work for himself. DO NOT USE!

I called Byron from another state seeking help with a thirteen year old felony warrant out of Reno. He has spent a minimum of four hours on three phone consultations and probably another hour or more speaking with people in Reno to get more information on my case. The retainer quoted is half (or less) of what other attorneys have quoted for representation on the same case. Byron has always shown himself to be knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, unlike any other attorneys I consulted who were generally negative and condescending. I would highly recommend that anyone needing legal help in Reno talk to Byron first.

He is a horrible lawyer. He stole 10,000.00 dollars from us. And showed up on the wrong court date. He used profanity, and called us stupid as we tried to fire him. He is a jerk with no morals. Do NOT trust him. We will be contacting the State Bar!

Byron was able to get 3 felony counts completely dismissed after recommending me for an alternate sentencing program and a suspended sentence! When I needed help with changing my life and getting help Byron was able to make suggestions. Byron even called me to check up on me and make sure I was ok! His prices are more than fair and he was up front and honest as well. His courtroom etiquette was professional, clear and concise! This person represented two of my brothers. One on domestic violence and child abuse which was reduced to disturbing the peace. Normally a case that is non negotiable without a trial. It was negotiated anyway. The other was shooting a firearm at a perceived intruder even thought none may have existed. It was also reduced to disturbing the peace. This guy is very personable, powerful, and persuasive in the court room. HE CARES!

Byron really is dedicated to his clients. He went over and above what he neerded to do, and got whatever he wanted from the judge.. The reasons why? Byron was intellegent, prepared, dedicated, passionate, creative with "outside the box" thinking and was concerned about me, not himself or money. He could have charged me far more then he did, but he had the integrity to go by what he originally Try finding another lawyer like that. I highly reccommend him for any criminal defense case. Byron really is the best-and a nice person as well.
