Horrible. Her files were a mess she was never prepared and she dismissed many things that I told her.

I hired Joyce Barrett for my divorce in April until Nov not even a single financial document was obtained from my husband . She advised me not to file an insurance claim for missing pre marital jwellery from my home , inspite of the Judge's recommendation and refused to talk to the detective . Please don't hire her . She is never prepared for any of my trials . I had to discharge her at the last min , she charged me $10000 for nothing .

As tenant of one of her buildings, she has shown nothing but disregard for her clients. Work is not getting done on the premises, her associate who answers the phone is very rude and does not relay messages, and Joyce does not answer any calls. From what I have seen I would not recommend her at all, as a lawyer or landlord.

didn't bother to let me know in advance that she wouldn't be at a hearing,didn't itemize work, didn't respond to a request,unprepared for hearing
