I asked Michael to get my vehicle back and he charged me $500. Afterwards I found out he didn't really do much to help me I decided out of the $500 since I wasted his time he deserved atleast some kind of payment and I offered $200 as payment. He replied with he charges $175 an hour which was not mentioned at all throughout the 3 times I met with him. Which means this attorney charges hidden fees. I will repost this with a new rating depending on how he approaches this. So far this I believe he is a horrible attorney if this is how he treats his clients. An attorney that charges hidden fees means he has no skills at all. Plus he wanted more than %50 down before he takes action. I will never attempt to hire this attorney ever again.

Mr. Brennan will analyze your case and recommend starategy at 1st visit and then you can get free consultations with other lawyers. If you don't agree with strategy then don't hire. He will get real pissy if you want to do something shady

I hired Mr. Brennan because I am out of state for work and needed an atty. I had a very good experience and due to the time difference and my work it was difficult for me to contact him during business hours, so I was given his personal cell phone number and never had a problem reaching him. My out come was better than I expected. Only thing I found was he there to be my atty not marriage counselor.

I thought I made a good choice, first concern I had was the poor paperwork, I had to finally e-mail the errors, and yet they were filed with white out and pen changes, then I provide all the discovery which he did not bring to court, by the way he had a case after ours, and kept running to the other department and left me in out department. Then he created a stipulation with the other party and had them sign then he brought it to me and said "Trust me, this is in your favor" not! It is the complete opposite of what his office prepared in the Motion, and I am still left with parent 2 with half physical and legal right, yet they do not even see the children. I have sent email and calls since our "Court Appearance", no reply, so at this point I don't know if I should keep him. Oh, be careful of the agreement $1200.00 "flat rate", that is not what will be reflective on your court papers.

Absolutely the worst of the worst! Never did anything on my case except get it thrown out then just stalled me finding ways to use up the retainer I gave. Never sent me a bill in a year until I fired him. Sued him over his fees (which I partially won). $1500 to go to court to ask for a continuance $50 to call me back and leave a message. Check his record with the state bar before hiring him.

Excellent attorney. Never a problem, always returned phone calls. Dealing with family law is very stressful.

I just hired him and I am very impressed. I had a lawyer I used on and off for 10 years, who I trusted with my life. This lawyer is still a good man but is too diveresed and "corporate" America. He is so busy, his staff handles most of his business. There are some who are incompetent and unethical. Talk about wasting money. I will post back my court outcome with Mr. Brennan. He was kind, made me feel at ease, and protected. My case is very complex yet he exuded confidence in his abilities as a lawyer. All lawyers are expensive and please realize that they have trials and other clients so it may take awhile for an attorney to return phone calls (atleast Michael calls back and not a secretary with no answers). He has returned every single one of mine. We will see.

This guy will charge you $1200 to go to court even if he is there only 30 mins, so he likes going to court and anything else to bill you as much as possible. If he calls you on the phone, whether you pick up or not, its $50. Plus, he makes a mistake and files the wrong forms, well tough, you have to pay for it, along with more fees to him. Expensive lawyers are one thing but in my opinion this guy is a thief and don't expect to get any help from the state bar. If you complain, he talks to you like your stupid and you just don't understand the law.

Brennan likes to make you think he is on your side,says one thing;does another!After he took my money,he wouldn't return calls,or make appts.No plan of action for my day in court.My son's teachers were ready to testify, but Brennan did not care..I guess $10,000 wasn't enough money for his time. My son is the one suffering;living in an unsafe environment and being ****ed.Brennan behavior is unethical, dishonest,he is seemingly incompetent.I reported Brennan to the state bar;an oxymoron;it protects their own!Brennan is a "CourtCommissioner." How is this possible? He was unwilling to put in writing his plan of action;$10,000 was pd.up front 2him, nothing dlvd.He'shostile,defensive,cocky,stated"that’s ridiculous,no attorney will put a plan in writing". Yes, I wish I had looked here before hiring this oaf. After he got my money, I had a hard time reaching him on the phone or getting him to do anything on my case. Then I found out he agreed to terms in the settlement that I didn't have to go along with but he tried to convince me it was the law and I had no choice.

I absolutely agree this guy is anything but a fathers rights attorney. He takes your money and then you don't hear from him again (5200 so far). I plan to file a complaint with the state bar, though I doubt they will do anything, but what else can I do? I can represent myself or take my chances with another attorney and kiss off the money I've paid him. I can't contact the judge or discuss my case with another attorney because it is supposed to be unethical. Geez, what a racket!
