I highly recommend working with Kevin Seaver. Kevin and his team made a hopeless situation feel hopeful and eventually helped us experience justice with DCF. Unfortunately, I had to call Attorney Kevin Seaver due to retaliation of a tenant at a scattered site shelter I was placed in. She left drug paraphernalia in our shared bathroom where my 4 and 6 year old found it. After being reported by myself, along with the backing of the first floor tenant and next door neighbors, who had also witnessed her intoxicated behavior, she called DCF on each of our families. It was pure retaliation however we all now have to go through the process of DCF investigation. With all that said, Attorney Weaver gave me a free consultation. He asked very detailed questions to better suit my families needs; Covered DCF processes and stayed in touch even after knowing that because I lived in a shelter, I couldn't afford representation. His heart for what he does outweighs his knowledge, and by our conversation, it's pretty impressive. Thank you Mr. Weaver for who you are, not just what you do! Urgently recommend for any consultation and/or representation.

Fell asleep during our meeting, then proceeded to yell at us when we tried to tell him our side of the story. He is supposed to be defending us, but clearly he doesn't care. Extremely poor attitude.

Kevin didn't listen to a word I said. He spoke over me and hollered at me. He went to a DCF meeting and it was quickly apparent that he didn't know anything about my case. I also was not informed of an impending court date and when I found out and called him, he quit the day before court and said, read the fine print! I don't do court appearances! Not lgbtqi friendly.

Kevin seaver was useless. Didnt listen to a word I said and did not even listen to details of the case. Made us go all the way down to his office just to say nothing. All the words that came out of his mouth was, "do you know how mich I cost an hour"! What a stereotypical jerk. I do have money, and through his arrogance on top of everything he wouldnt even tell us how much he wanted. What a waste. If ypu want someone to fight for you, dont retain him.

When the DCF called me saying they “supported an allegation of abuse/neglect,” I collapsed. I was a basket case, unable to eat or sleep for fear of what would happen. I needed to protect myself, my rights, and my family, but didn’t know what to do. I met with lawyers who were uninformed & full of negativity toward my case. Atty Seaver was different. He let me speak to former clients who talked about his work ethic & how he had successfully represented them. Kevin was knowledgeable and compassionate, planning a way to fight for me, my kids, and the truth. Thru his devotion and effort, my criminal charges were dropped. My DCF case was closed after the assessment & the false allegations of abuse/neglect overturned at a Fair Hearing. I retained my custody rights. Attorney Seaver was great with everything. Every time we would meet with him he would explain what was going on and what we needed to do perfectly. He worked his absolute hardest for us and for that I am forever grateful. The only reason it took a long time for everything to be settled was all on DCF's court. Kevin Patrick Seaver skillfully achieved the impossible for us and got a DCF/DSS decision reversed. We were devastated when the decision was originally handed down. As soon as we were in his office knew we had made the right choice. He has a mind like a steel trap, knows how to deal with the child and family agencies, pulls in experts when needed, and always remembers the crucial details of your case. Attorney Seaver and his office stayed in constant contact with me about my case. He also understood and listened to me during what was a terrible time in my life, when I thought I would lose the career I had worked so hard to build. He is a very intelligent man. He is extremley committed in giving you all or nothing.When I went to see him he knew write away what needed to be done.He explained to me in great detail what needs to take place.He also gave me a time table as of how it was going to unfold.Kevin Seaver knows how the system works.He has made a great name for himself.He backed up every word he and some for me.DCF is one of the worst things to have in your life.Without a firm like these guys I believe anybodies outcome will be traumatically different.They work with highly respected professionals in Massachusetts. Kevin is quite knowledgeable of the issues related to child abuse and recognizes when the investigation by DCF is flawed. Though expensive, the cost is worth the tenacity with which he goes after the investigators. As a child care professional, this accusation destroyed my career. Kevin has done everything he could to reverse this injustice and try to put controls on the prejudicious decision-making of DCF. My fair hearing was a joke, with the reviewer ignoring fact, science and testimony. Kevin remained supportive throughout. I am unable to proceed to Superior court. Kevin, recognizing the injustices done to me, has offered to proceed. I only hope I will be able to someday reimburse him for his services. In addition to his skill, his greatest asset is Donna! She keeps him on track.
