Tim did a great job for my child support modification. He quickly came up with 4 affirmative defenses, and had the opposing attorney very nervous. We settled out of court. His rates a very reasonable and fair.

Tim represented me (a woman) for a very stressful domestic situation. I found him to be incredibly hard working, respectful, caring, intelligent, and honest. He was a true advocate for me, and I appreciate having him as my atty. He stood up for me when it was incredibly difficult for me to stand up for myself. He followed through with everything he said he would do, and responded to me quickly. He has a strong knowledge of his field and I trust his advice. His paralegal Colleen is also wonderful. I had no experience with legal issues and Tim and Coleen were helpful and patient as they guided me through the legal process for my divorce and custody. Tim was a strong advocate for me and my sons and provided helpful council about my options. While there was little to enjoy about the process, I trusted Tim and Coleen were working to provide me with their best legal council and feel they were the best choice for me and my situation.

I found Mr. Porterfield through online reviews, so I hope this helps others as theirs helped me. I am thrilled with his work. He is extremely professional and intelligent and follows through exactly when and how he states he will. He will keep you focused on what is important and absolutely has only your interests in mind; he will fight for you. And his billing is clear, extremely fair and very detailed. Tim was was my husband's attorney in our divorce case. In 8 hours of mediation, he never acknowledge me or even acted like I existed. He is milking my husband for ever dollar and giving bad advice. We could have had a very civil divorce but Tim was not an advocate for peaceful negotiations.

Tim represented me in a very long custody case. Other attorney's let me down as they had backed off due to the heavy litigation. Tim stood up for what was right and proved to me that he cares. I (a man) have full custody now. It was a tough road yet he never backed down . That means alot to our family.

Bad attitude, no patience, loses evidence, miscommunications, acts annoyed, doesn't explore all options, doesn't fight hard for you. He will have his secretary correspond in emails and he will charge you heavily for it, but it is obvious that he doesn't read your replies to his questions, he tries to milk you for your money.
