These other reviews all make me laugh-- "1" rating on knowledge because you didn't get the settlement you want? Come on- unhappy lazy people who think they deserve a better hand in their divorce than they were delt- that is why all of the ratings are "1"s or "5"s. Lawyers have to represent both the winners and the losers. My personal experience was a very positive one. Mr Kommor is realistic and fair, and ultimately wants the best compromise with both parties. After a multi year divorce, Mr Kommor walked me through the process and was always willing to help. He prioritized my children and I personally loved the professional relationship he maintained with my ex's lawyer. At the end of the day, some people want the best for their ex and children and some want to damn them to hell. Mr. Kommor is a perfect resource if you are looking for the former.

Mr. Kommar is an opportunist, and he is great at dragging a court case that leads to more payouts. He will feed you empty promises. Doesn't return your calls promptly, have you return to the office several times to discuss matters that can be discussed over the phone, and then hit you with a bill. He will misplace your paper work and says he did not receive it, and constantly ask for copies that you've provided a thousand times. He will cohort with the opposing side as they are all good friend, but he won't let your know that. He will ensure you the case will finalize in you favor, but ends up a complete disaster, and he rarely keeps you up to speed with your case. Retain him at your own risk, and be prepared to SPEND, because it will be a long ride.

Disappointed never returns phone calls. Never told me when my divorce went through. Told me when I was signing with him with his great speech of how much he values his clients that he’s going to hold my hand through the whole process and that he wouldn’t be satisfied until I was completely taken care of in the end for example he would set me up with the representative to help me get health insurance. Imagine my surprise when all said and done he told me to look on the Internet for insurance. I imagine he’d be a good lawyer if he actually did what he said he would do when you’re writing him that check to sign with him. Truly Disgusted actually had the nerve to ask for a good review

I found Mr. Kommor to be quite exceptional handling my divorce which could have turned into a complete nightmare. Although I am probably never going to get married again, I would not hesitate to use his services in the future. I can't thank him for saving my kids college education funds which surely would have been depleted by other unscrupulous attorneys. Mr. Kommor seems to have mastered the balance between being fair and agressive.

I find it disturbing that anyone can post a rating to this site. Mr. Kommor was an excellent attorney for me. Fair, knowledgeable, and very committed to my case. He also did not look to line his pockets with my kids education funds like the lawyer I had before him. I would highly recommend using him as he he did a great job for me.

Mr. Kommor promises you everything will be OK. You will win, everything will be OK. Please make the check out to.... Then he and the other cohorts in court extend things. He constantly does not reply to voice or email. He does not file the paperwork on your behalf. He does not seem to recall documentation that you have provided several time which lead to another meeting(charge) in the office to discuss details that you have been over several times before. Do yourself a favor. Find a better lawyer, this one is NO GOOD!!!

Very compassionate, understanding with a good knowledge of the law. His fees are reasonable and Mr. Kommor seems to have a knack for settling complicated cases without costing the client a fortune in legal fees. I was very impressed with his work for me and should I ever actually get married and divorced again (heaven forbid), I will certainly use his services. Did a great job for me.

only strenth kommer has is a family court protection order because he seems to know evil people there.Otherwise this person is a complete loser.Has a napolean complex and takes it out on the nemesis.Luckily for him a high amount of ignorant people/clients exist to take advantage of.A attorney like him could not stay in business without people to take advantage of.Thjis lawyer will drain you of all your funds and create a situation fruitful only for himself.He will direct you to become angry and nobody makes correct decisions when you are angry.He knows how to make a mess of everything in a divorce which in turn makes him alot of money and will also cause the nemisis/lawyer to ride his coat tails so that lawyer makes alot of money.Hopefully this blog will show up on his ratings as it would help anyone who reads it make a correct decision in hiring steven Kommer(not Too)

I never imagined how bad the system was until I got involved with another thief lawyer who completely screwed up my case, Mr. Kommor salvaged a bad situation and probably saved me thousands of dollars in legal fees. There is no doubt that he is great trial lawyer. However, he is just as fierce at negotiations and pushes towards settlement. I cannot thank him enough.

He should be dis bared. Comes across sincere and genuine in the beginning. Pathological liar who was late for every court appearance. He's arrogant and hostile. Cost me several hundred thousand dollars. He's a walking disaster. He dragged out my divorce over 4 years by misrepresenting reality. He leads you to believe that you are entitled to to things that you will never receive. Even his opposing counsel holds him low regard. My ex's attorney suggested that I sue him for malpractice. I would have had he not financially ruined me. DON'T GET INVOLVED WITH HIM!!! He's the reason lawyers get a bad name. He's a ZERO!!!

Steven did a great job for me. He took an impossible situation for me and got me through it. He knew exactly what was going to happen and how to handle it. He kept me in the loop constantly and I was never left in the dark. He kept at the DA until he worked out an acceptable solution which was better than I had hoped. i don't feel anyone could have better represented me. i gladly would have paid double what he charged me considering the outcome.

Excellent! Saved years of court appearances and is very pleasant and knowledgable. Can be very aggressive when needs to be but pushes for for settlement. Doesn't give a song and a dance.

Excellent attorney who took me thorugh a very difficult divorce. Did not create unrealistic expectations and fought hard to get me a very good settlement. Very fast on his feet in the courtroom and seems to be very well respected in the courthouse.

He was a horror! My divorce took 3 years to become final and because of the delay I became bankrupt. He made all kinds of promises he didn't keep and should have never made because he didn't know what he was talking about. He gave me bad legal advice on several issues. The most important was "just sign the settlement aggreement and you can go right back to court to change things"..HA! That agreement still haunts me to this day. I'm back in court with a new attorney trying to straighten out the mess Kommor made of my life! You would have thought he was working for the other side! DO NOT TRUST HIM,DO NOT TRUST HIS KNOWLEDGE OF THE LAW, DON'T HIRE HIM YOU'LL BE SORRY! The good ratings he's getting are probably from the respondents/defendants to his cases. Oh yea...he did give me a break in the cost to hire him, & now we all know why. Find another Lawyer you won't regret it!

Always gave it his all plus! My mind was set at ease through a very difficult divorce knowing he was always on top of everything. His overwhelming knowledge in all areas of law and exceptional communication skills with his clients earns him a huge thumbs up! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone out there for any type of case you may have.

never returned my phone calls, seems more concerned about his image than fighting for his client. Very short attention span, late to court appearances, erratic behavior with arrogant tendancies. Knowledge of law very good but he's not worth all the frustration he caused me. He isn't as good as he tries to make you believe. Lots of smoke and mirrors.
