I felt that I was up against the mediator not my ex. He was arrogant, did not listen to a word I said and was clearly biased against me before I even walked in the door. My ex stated that he was clearly told by Mr. Gaddis not to accept my offer which to me appears unethical. I negotiated my own divorce settlement rather than use him. For my own emotional sanity I continually asked Mr. Gaddis to leave the room in order to have private conversations with my attorney and financial advisors. He clearly appeared put out that there were other professionals attending in my best interest. He packed his bags up without explanation and stated we were not getting anywhere - clearly a tactic of his to either stress out the parties or just get more money. I am still two years later angry with the way I was treated by him and do not advise anyone to use him. RID: 194798
Click to report rating    11/7/16   1     1     1     1     1   This so-called professional told me that life did not matter and that three years of hell did not matter. He told me to get over everything and just deal with it because he was sick of hearing about it. He told me the courts did not care about what I had to say and I had to accept that. He openly heard my ex says she cannot stop her family from using drugs and alcohol around my child and would do nothing to help. He outright told me I could not get court orders to stop conflict between myself and my ex that I have now seen in other cases that are handed out daily. In my opinion he was very openly biased and Prejudiced against me as a father and touted his experience as though he was a god. In my opinion anyone who uses him is on a Fool's errand as he's a pompous arrogant individual that cares nothing for the truth. As with others he has been sure to ask about money owed but hides behind "court rules" leaving my daughter in danger he knows exists. dwaynefit@gmail.com RID: 176558

Click to report rating    1/4/13   1     1     1     1     1   He was the worse mediator I could have had. No respect for father's rights and did not explain to me his results, but left the country and was unable to be contacted. Except for when he wanted his money. RID: 97706
Click to report rating    12/3/10   1     2     3     1     1   Did not notify us of potential conflict of interest until after we’d started mediation. Showed EXTREME bias during arbitration, continued to exhibit behaviors described in the Seattle Times article (unfortunately I was unaware of the reprimand prior to agreeing to use him). Made multiple ruling contrary our signed CR2A, and then stated that I could go to the appellate court, but all they’d do is send us back to him. RID: 38011
Click to report rating    6/16/07   2     2     1     2     1   "He also seemed to play favorites in court, go on tirades, and take glee in spotting paperwork flaws, according to complaints filed against him." http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html.... He showed little skill in mediating issues in the court room when his mind was made up which is usually before arguements are heard. Does not like to be proven wrong. Very opinionated and has less than a basic understanding of income tax law. RID: 4459
