In a divorce that was literally "David vs Goliath" Mr. Stoffman was my slingshot. Mr. Stoffman relentlessly pursued justice for my children and I; ensuring they had access to child support based on an accurate income vs what my ex claimed. Mr. Stoffman is efficient, professional, accommodating and refreshingly upfront. He may not always tell you what you want to hear, but he will always tell you what you need to hear. If you want a brilliant legal mind and someone who takes care of the difficult process of divorce for you, I cannot recommend Jim highly enough.

He is only interested in dragging out your case for as long as possible in order to charge as much as possible. His knowledge is outdated and he repeats himself to rack up time to then bill you. Beware of this insidious and greedy lawyer! He will not work in your best interest which is the ethical framework of a good lawyer. He works on behalf of his own selfish greed. Stay away from him. He will ruin you financially and emotionally.

my wife and I had one of the children abducted to Canada during a visit with my wife's ex. Mr. Stoffman had a great team put together and got us in touch with their government agency who helped get her returned in no time at all. Very impressed with the total professionalism of all of the lawyers and the results. Highly recommend.

I went from $0 to $10,000 quickly. I changed my mind and wanted to reconcile with my wife, but he would not let me. I dropped him to get a lawyer who would listen to me and represent my interests.

He is my 3rd lawyer in two years. He has done more in one month that both of the others combined. Expensive yes, but your money is actually being used for services he is doing. I don't mind others doing the tedious work for him, especially if it frees him up to do the stuff that needs his expertise.

My divorce was pretty simple but a friend of mine told me to see Jim Stoffman for a second opinion before I signed off on everything as my wife and I were being represented by other lawyers. Mr. Stoffman told me that there was possibly a way that I could save a lot of money but still keep the original deal in tact. He had someone in the tax department of the firm restructure the separation agreement with my ex and we both wound up saving thousands. I had to give her a bit more money but the tax savings for me far outweighed the cost of the lawyers and what I paid her. I will be able to keep the business for the kids down the road without so much hardship. I found them to be quite professional and knowledgeable.

Very good if he has time for you. Tends to take on to many clients and spread himself to thin, then pass you on to an insubordinate in the office.

Over all a tenacious fighter who I think really worked hard to settle my case and ultimately did. He was my 2nd lawyer and as soon as he took it over my ex's attitude toward my requests totally changed in my favour and we resolved the remaining issues in about 6 weeks. He relies on other lawyers in his group which I found a bit unsettling at times but I can't complain about the outcome. Highly recommend him anytime.
