Barry is the best family law attorney in Columbus. There were 4 other family law lawyers in my divorce case, and without a doubt, Barry was smarter, worked harder and was more tenacious. The other 4 lawyers are generally viewed as the high profile local divorce lawyers, and were outclassed by Barry in all regards. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Barry represented me for many years. I'm now on state assistance while my ex still enjoys the life style we were accustomed to.

I worked with Barry in a large firm for many years, though I was not a family law attorney. I know that he is an excellent lawyer. Please understand that some people who don't get their expected result in court will be bitter and will want to lash out at their lawyer, regardless of their competency. All I want to contribute is this brief story: I went to the early morning funeral of someone who worked in our office in a very low level role. I went because I lived 3 minutes from the church. The only other lawyer I saw from our firm that bothered to take the time to grieve with the family was Barry Wolinetz. He drove at least half an hour to be there, for no other reason than to pay his respects, on a Saturday morning when I am sure he had plenty else to do. I know for sure (because of the area) that he went there not to get new clients, or to show his face, but because he is a good man. Remember that when you read some of these bitter reviews.

I hired Barry for my divorce and he promised to get me a good settlement at first... Seemed like he was really worth the extreme high fee he was charging me... Then all of a sudden, it seemed like he was working for my x husband and backed down on my case, I got nothing including No child support for my 3 kids, no alimony. All I got was a huge bill from him.. I don't know who he ended up working for me or my X. The he had the audacity to tell me my X seems like a really nice guy!!!! What the hell?

Mr. Wolinetz is a very capable attorney with an excellent grasp of business and financial matters. He is expensive and worth every penny!

Stay away from barry. He says he can always get thing done but never does. He has been my lawyer for years until I found out he was talking about me to his friends. I have never met such a awful human. Please stay away from him. He is all about the money.

I used him as counsel in a divorce action. He said the case was beneath him and should be handled by his paralegal. He would not listen to me, and ignored my concerns about the value of my business being hidden from us and the court.

Protected me from a bogus CPO and crazy wife. Polite, respectful and prompt. I have always thought his price was fair. He does NOT overcharge for what he delivers. Highly recommended.
