My wrongful Termination case with now former employer was tough and challenging enough and then John McKendree comes in and makes things worse. Lots of follow-up Required, staff that can be rude and excessive costs for minimal work shown. Do not be fooled by the, you pay us when you win BS. I ended up wasting over $2000 when it was all said and done.
He wanted to turn around and charge me $18,000 which I just flat out told him there was no way I was going to pay that because I did not see the work that he did. So word of advice, proceed with caution when dealing with John McKendree and be prepared for some useless justification on his part with regards to negative reviews. I guess attorneys are known for being able to work with words and justify pretty much anything to win their case.?

John Mckendree and his team sincerely represent quality and long time efficacy in their field. When I filed a wrongful termination suit, McKendree handled the case very promptly while expertly negotiating a fair result for my interests. Thanks!

He lost his license a few years ago because of an employee's embezzalment. I am quite sure she is still working for him.. He and his assistant are pure evil. They are impossible to communicate with. He has absolutely no interest in what he is doing. Describing him as incompetent would be a complement.

I hired Mckendree to pursue an employment related case. He altered papers after I signed an affidavit confirming the truth of the information. McKendree told me not to worry, nobody would notice. I did some research and learned that his act was criminal and that it would give the opposing party an opening to discredit my case. I filed a complaint with the Attorney Regulation Counsel and was told by Matt Samuelson that McKendree would have to be charged and convicted of his crime before any action could be taken. I reviewed the law and learned that a conviction was not necessary for action by the counsel and I contacted John Gleason, chief counsel. No action was taken for several years. When I pressed for action Gleason and Samuelson assigned a new case number to my complaint and then claimed that the statute of limitatons had expired, so no action could be taken. Walter Gerash has reviewed documents related to the case and he told me he had a good laugh about what happened.

I paid him in full to prepare a civil suit. The case he prepared was full of claims which were not even recognised by Colorado Law. The case was dismissed. He structured the complaint in a way that prevented me from recovering attorney's fees upon appeal. I paid several other attorneys to review his work and they said it was "bull s***". One of his long time associates discribed him as a strange man who like to drink large quantities of expensive alcohol and then boast about it. A Boulder attorney told me that McKendree did what he did to me all of the time. What he did is a crime abd that crime is theft by fraud. He took a large retainer from me and then filed a civil suit which had no basis in colorado Law. I fired him after I learned the true extent of his "legal rperesentation" of me in this case. The most disturbing thing is that everyone in the legal community apparently knows this guy does this kind of thing all of the time.

What is interesting is that this guy has the highest ratings in Martindale Hubbard - the official book which lists and rates attorneys. (Bottom line in my mind is that a lawyer will generally collect money no matter what they do, how helpful it is, how careful they are.) I would not recomend this man to anyone!!!
