Mr Smith has been helping me take care of everything to do with my divorce since 2019. I highly recommend him! He truly cares and has always taken his time to answer any questions I may have. I had never needed a lawyer before. He has truly exceeded my expectations!

Claude is an excellent attorney. He took my case when I could not find an attorney. He did a throrough investigation, filed the paperwork and within three weeks, I regained custody of my children. I could not have done this without Claude. He and his staff are very kind.

I recently retained Claude for a child cusotdy/contempt matter. My ex took our children our of state and told me she was moving. Claude had a hearing set within a week and we were successful in regaining custody of my children. Claude was agressive and responsive to my requests. He is the man. Thanks Claude!

8/8/12 Consult Mr Smith seemed competent,and confident. First meeting after retainer went well. He had me sign several sets of paperwork for him to file. This was in the first week of July, I think. The problems started about 2 weeks later when I tried to contact him. As of now I have no response to at least 15-18 phone calls, and 3 emails. In all this time, I have not spoke to Mr. Smith at all. I have talked to his assistant every time, but can gather no response from her. I dont understand why SOMEONE cant answer my questions. My fears are that nothing has been done or filed. He may be a great lawyer, he may just take on more clients than he can handle. It could be that I could only pay $1500 down and he has bigger clients. I will be getting an answer soon, if i have to camp out at his office. If he continues as my attorney, and performs well, I will change his ratings in all areas except communication.

I spoke in consultation with Mr. Claude Smith; he listened briefly and then proceeded to dictate how my legal situation should be handled regardless of the fact that it would make me feel extremely uncomfortable to move forward in the direction that he suggested. I mentioned in our conversation, several times, that their had been a history of abuse and that I would prefer to pursue another course that would cost me a little more and that he was not respecting my feelings. He said I insulted him and that he'd had woman clients for 25 years. Well, he didn't get me as a client. I got off the phone as fast as I could.

Claude is an an excellent lawyer. He has represented me in a divorce which has been ongoing for the last 5 years. He has been tireless in working on my behalf to help me protect my children. You could not do any better. We have had to fight my ex-husband on every issue. He has hidden assets, he disappeared out of state with my children and he has been charged with crimes out of state. Claude helped me find my children and obtain an order preventing my ex-husband from even seeing the children. Thanks, Claude!

Claude Smith is the most patient and kind person I know being in the legal profession surrounded by so many attorneys in one town. He takes his clients seriously and does whatever he can do to help them. He is not money hungry but he does do excellent work and should be paid more for what he does for his clients. Fair and decent and works hard and gets things done.
