I consulted Mr. Leiser regarding my divorce and custody issues. Mr. Leiser was exteamly knowledgable on the laws regarding my situation and was thorough and driven to see that the outcome was favorable not only for me but for my dependant child. He was accessible and timely in getting back to me during this most stressful event. His fees for service were reasonable and fair and his billing was clear.

I highly recommend him. Diligent, honest, hard-working and highly effective in court. I've heard he has a psychotic former client of the firm (not even his client) who poses as multiple clients on this site, saying negative things about him. My impressions are all positive!

I would never recommend Phillip Leiser, Leiser, Leiser, Hennessy. Vastly disappointed in what he did and his course of action. My interaction with Phillip Leiser was not a pleasant experience and I only wish I had taken the time to research my choice in lawyers.

His firm just settled a personal injury matter for a significant amount of $$$. It was a case involving a defective blender that resulted in a serious finger cut. Mr. Leiser and his team are willing to fight if necessary and that helps get cases settled when the other side realizes that they won't back down from a fight!

Mr. Leiser is an incredibly effective advocate! He was able to get the Virginia Supreme Court to grant two appeals on the briefs alone. That means that the court did not even require him to go down to Richmond for oral argument. His written work product was enough for the court to determine that it was likely that the trial court committed reversible error. Both appeals have been granted. In one case, the trial court took away $200,000 of a $375,000 verdict in a personal injury case that his firm won. He is appealing that decision and the Virginia Supreme Court has granted his appeal. Great job!!!!

In my past career, I was a court stenographer; so I feel confident that I know the caliber of a good lawyer versus that of a bad one. I can say without hesitation that Phillip Leiser is an excellent attorney. I came to know Phillip when I had to unfortunately sue my previous employer for breach of contract, which resulted in significant personal lost wages. Phillip went over the extensive documentation that I provided him thoroughly and with an objective eye, giving me his candid opinion every step of the way. If he didn't know something, he would consult with a colleague or even outside sources to get the answers. His research and commitment to my case has given me the confidence I need to move forward. I don't have much more space to write, but I will end my comments with this statement: My case has yet to be tried, and the outcome is uncertain. But even if I lose, I am so impressed with Phillip that I would still recommend him to anyone I know. He is an outstanding attorney.

Overall I was disappointed by his service. He took a long time to respond to basic inquiries and in the end his work lacked depth that we ended up having to get from another attorney. I wouldn't use him again and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone I know for important legal issues.

I am especially appreciative of the sensitivity in which you responded to my questions and concerns with patience and professionalism. Your abilities to clearly articulate possible outcomes, their likelihoods, and implications made this terribly ominous experience less daunting. You did a brilliant job of injecting relativism and your vast experience without discounting my perception/reality that this was equivalent to a high crime. It is that nuanced approach you possess that, in addition to your skills, elevates you beyond "hired professional" status; you are true hero to your clients. Phillip was extremely generous with his time and his referral to a lower hourly-rate attorney, honestly recommending that I did not need his level of experience. That was unexpected and most appreciated.

Phillip researhed the code violation and found the town had incorrectly pressed charges on the wrong code. He used this information during the hearing/trial and successfully made it clear to the judge that the town had pressed the wrong charges. The judge concluded with a not-guilty finding. Phillip really shined.

Phillip Leiser is a fine attorney and respected by the members of the bar. He takes difficult cases and sticks by his clients, even when the going gets tough. He is also smart enough to not take cases that are beyond his field of experience. Therefore if he takes your case he knows well what he is doing. He is an attorney worth calling if you believe you need to hire an attorney.

Mr. Leiser worked aggressively to recover money for me that was wrongfully charged to my credit card. After he filed suit, the credit card company finally caved and paid me back in full, with interest and costs. This was after I had tried unsuccessfully for over a year to get the money back myself. Mr. Leiser is highly professional and courteous. I would use him for all of my legal needs and recommend him to anyone.
