Mr. Gilmore is the most incompetent attorney I've ever worked with. He blatantly lies, misses court dates, doesn't communicate and intentionally over charges and misrepresents. Apparently I'm not the only one who has had these experiences and honestly wish I had read these reviews before hiring him. He pretends to make you and your concerns his priority but does the complete opposite. I wanted an attorney who would be strong in the courtroom but with integrity, instead I got Mr. Gilmore who I found out after my case was completed, is considered the joke in the world of attorneys and local courts. DO YOUR RESEARCH! I wish I had.

I hate lawyers. However, since I had to use one, I chose these guys. Mr Gilmore and his staff were helpful, offered several options, and allowed me to make payments. They told me what the amount was and explained the process. I got pretty much what I wanted in the settlement and his estimation for time was pretty close. I found him VERY ethical and fair.

Mr. Gilmore, I guess I should be thanking you. Your inept & unethical representation of my ex wife worked in to my benefit. This attorney is extremely unethical. He represented my Ex in a Military Pension division clarification case. He argued (at her expense) case law that had long been settled by higher courts, purposely gave wrong information to the Judge, failed to present settlement offers to my Ex, & many other unethical & probably illegal actions. After all was said & done, my ex received less than what I offered at the beginning. She now gets less & has multiple thousands of dollars in Attorney fees to pay. Thanks Sans. All others: Beware & read all other reviews & check the Washington State Bar Association Website for his other reprimands. Reprimands to lawyers are rare. He is a crook!

I want to thank the Gilmore firm for their representation. My divorce was complex and Mr. Gilmore and his staff were VERY CAPABLE of handing my complex issues. My only "4" rating is because the representation was very expensive and it may take me quite a while to pay my legal fees. I have recommended Mr. Gilmore to others and I will continue to do so. Thanks.

this man lied through out my case.Never talked to witnesses. never filed any of my proof to help my case.would NOT call back when called.this was a third party custody case.only listened to an 18 yr old known drug user for all his info.he was a GAL on this case. did not care what was the best interest of the child. He charged money that he did not earn.He was so dishonest,and lazy.Dont hire him, lies and can not be trusted. Save yourselves alot of heartship and money.wouldnt think a human being could treat other beings this way. how do you sleep at nights mr gilmore?

This lawyer is as crooked as they come, I retained this lawyer, And paid my retainer with a debit card, Was told that I could make monthly payments, Well after the first bill my checking acount was debited with the full amount without my authorization, Which caused me to have overlimit fee's and returned check charges. after contacting him I was told that there was something in the papers that I signed that I had to pay in full right away, Again I was told that I could make payments. So I I filed a dispute with my bank over the charges and I made arrangments to pay the amount with my wifes credit card. The money was credited back to my account. I was told by the attorny that the case was done, About 8 months later I recieved another bill form this attorney. I was out of town at the time for a couple weeks, When I returned , I recieved a statement that the balance was zero. My wife noticed later that her credit card had been billed that amount. He did this all without any authorization.

Sans used ambiguous retirement calculations in my divorce decree eight years ago. After being given a second chance by the retirement coordinators (DFAS) to make good on his error, he threw the opportunity away in favor of inadvertently assisting my military ex-husband with the settlement. He did not tell me that he had represented me without my divorce file (which he says he destroyed) or with any recollection of why he had written the calculations the way he had back in 2001. His communications with me have been atrocious. He would not return my calls for two weeks after the court hearing that he was ill-prepared to participate in. When I finally got in touch with him, there was no apology for his lack of preparation which inevitably was the reason the case was lost. It appears his lack of concern and unethical approach to my case has cost me approximately $400 a month for the rest of my life. Thanks for nothing, Sans.

Sans has assisted our family with our Grandparents estate planning and power of attorney paperwork. He has been available for questions support several times. The paperwork that he completed was complete and uncontested. All phone calls were returned asap. Thank you Sans!

Whoever said mr. gilmore does not follow through obviously did not make sure they talked to him. HE has been awesome on staying updated in my case and i keep him on retainer and will until my son is 18 years old. I firmly believe that whoever wrote the bad comments either was a messed up parent or didnt want to pay mr. gilmore for his services. he works awesome with people and to this day i recommend people to him. especially military personnel

I really thought mr. Gilmore did an excellent job in handling my case. i am a us soldier and my ex was trying to really screw me over, i started the paperwork myself but soon realized she hired an attorney and i hired him last minute and he was great in making sure i was taken care of and things were settled. we ended up settling out of court and mr gilmore helped me so much and because of him i get to see my son whenever i want to and i get to have him on his vacations and weekends. Thank you so much Mr. Gilmore if it werent for you i dont know what would of happened!

I read the negative reviews before I wrote this review and I have to believe that whoever wrote those negative reviews must have wanted to get a lawyer's help and not pay for the services. Mr. Gilmore and his staff are great. I am a junior Soldier who was deployed when he took on my case and he made sure that all the details of my divorce were taken care of when I could not. His expense estimates were pretty accurate. He was willing to accept monthly payments. I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Sans

I ended up firing him immediately prior to my settlement conference because all he did was add up charges for useless info. I went into settlement conference alone and won more than he did using my own skills. After I fired him he then filed a lein against me and my property even though I was NEVER delinquent in my payments. Guess all he wanted was money and not interested in my case.

Mr. Gilmore made sure that I was comfortable having him as my attorney prior to accepting the job. He was compassionate regarding my situation. He communicated very well. And, he made sure my limited resources were not wasted. Thanks Sans.
