This lawyer deceived me into thinking I had a real age discrimination case against a school district and could recover something against them for the years they hired younger, less qualified candidates than I, after I had subbed there for 4 years. He did this, stringing me on for 2 years, much work on my part, plus at a cost to me of $2500.
He basically abdicated my case to the school district, blaming me for losing it over the fact that there was "white out" on my original application. This, despite the fact that the district had consistently rehired me for 4 years, even had me teaching 4 months full-time. This was nothing but a lame excuse for my lawyer to butt out and not rock anyone's boat.
Then he came back weeks later encouraging me to GO FORWARD with ligation at a cost of $5000!
Thus the ratings; no value, no tenacity, a great paralegal who did work and communicated, he no doubt had knowledge upfront that school lawsuits were nearly impossible to win,BUT took my money anyway.
