Unfortunately, up until late '08, her cases were more about her image than the child's future. Now the state of Oregon is saddled with her lopsided view of what's in the "best interest of children" since this woman was elected a state representative. Hopefully, sound minds will prevail on the state's Commission on Children and Families. By the way, Stiegler ran the most unethical campaign I've ever witnessed in the Central Oregon area. But then, follow the money---the groups that financed her campaign were questionable, to say the least. RID: 15858

5/21/07   1     2     1     1     1   Poor listening skills, with a knack for getting "facts" mixed up. Needs to research the case and present accurate facts rather than demonizing the witness, which shows her obvious bias. Rather than standing more on her own two feet, she relies on others too much to make her case. For someone who is the local director for the CASA organization, she certainly needs to do her homework much better, keep discrimination out of the court, and apply the principles that underly the CASA organization. For this lawyer and CASA director, her ineptness will only cause CASA to further slide down. Ten years ago they were a much better organization in Deschutes County, Oregon. Great CASA volunteers have since left; right now they're currently in NEED OF 29 VOLUNTEERS--4 BOARD MEMBERS AND 25 CASEWORKERS!! RID: 4060
