In four months Susan concluded (in my favour) what three prior lawyers couldn’t accomplish over four years. She’s blunt and straight to the point, and will not waste any of her time or yours- which means saving $$$. On one occasions she worked on my file until 9:30PM to prepare as much as possible for a case conference the following day. AND she’s much less dull than any lawyer I’ve met to spend hours working on very sensitive, personal info. Susan’s legal assistant / paralegal, Darlene, is just as amazing. Would confidently recommend this team.

Who is writing these positive reviews? Save your money and keep looking. Very expensive and value is not there. I would not recommend Susan Arlitt to anyone except for (god forbid) my next Ex. I am an organized person and I thought at first there was some method to her disorganized madness. When the time came, she didn't pull through, but the bill (no doubt prepared by her assistant) sure came through. I wouldn't expect to pay for individual emails when they were for short bursts of time for confirmation etc. I am happy to pay for hard work and results... I didn't see either :(

My ex offered a really generous settlement to start but this lawyer encouraged me to try for more as her legal fees would have been minimal. She successfully ran up her bills and my final settlement was much less than I was originally offered. Save your money and go anywhere else. All the positive ratings here are written by her anyway.

Knowledgable, but not applied for client. Communication not retained from/of client. Tenacity, but not for client's needs. Work Quality poor and inconsistent. Value was lost after the initial consultation.

Divorce and separations are such a difficult time for any of us, particularly when children are involved. What you need in a lawyer is someone who understands the law and deals with the facts and not get bogged down with the "he said she said" routine. I always felt that Susan had a plan and knew where we were heading. I expected a long nasty court battle...Susan told me that day "wouldn't it be nice to finish it all here in one day?" Susan walked in to the court room like she was walking into her own home and within a couple of hours we reached a very favorable settlement. She even got me a couple of things I wouldn't have thought of. This is why we pay a lawyer. Thank you Susan for your professional services!

Susan was completely honest, professional and patient while I was going through my divorce. My ex was being very difficult and changed lawyers twice in a year and a half. Throughout all of these trials and tribulations Susan was always attentive and very quick to respond when necessary. I have been happily divorced for almost a year, and because kids are involved anything that comes up I know that Susan is just an email or phone call away to give me advise or draft a letter if necessary. I have reccommended Susan to coworkers, friends and relatives and they have had no complaints and thanked me for the referral.

I don't see were those bad comments come from, Susan Arlitt has won my case with knoledge and experience, I am very greatfull to her attention and dedication, as for money, she doen't charge any more than other lawyers do.

It has been a couple years since my separation got finalized and during the complete process Susan gave me her professional advice and guidance, which lead to a fairly fast legal separation considering my Ex was not being at all co-operative. I have recommended Susan to friends and aquaintances who are in need of family law. They also have thanked me and have told me that they have had a great experience and some are still on going with proceeding and continue to be happy with Susan. Susan was thorough, understanding, genuine and professional at all times with my case and I was totally satisfied with the outcome. I 100% recommend Susan for any family law matters.

I used Susan's services, about $3,500 worth and it was pretty much a total waste. Her communication with me was poor, I had to ask her simple questions again and again in emails to get some answers, which of course cost me every time. She charged me for emails when I said: "Thanks for your assistance"! In the end, with her couple of letters i feel she did absolutely nothing to move my case forward. Her suggestions were often vague, I read up on my legal situation, typical things you could find in any government handbooks. The best example of her poor service is when she dropped my case unexpectedly in the middle of a very important phase and I was left to scramble on my own. Overall, her assistant was of much greater assistance than she ever was.

Suzan Arlitt won a very difficult case in my favor and helped me protect my child from an abusive parent, all lawyers are expensive for a working person, but she made arrangements so I can pay her, She is real and tell you as it is, but she has a warm heart and will take care of your case.

I can't believe bad comments about this lawyer! I found her to be realistic about my case. She was reasonable and personable, but she tells it like it is!
