Tom was a brilliant attorney who handled my case impeccably. He was always well prepared, explained the process to me and made me feel secure during one of the most difficult times of my life. He was so well respected in the court house, both by the other lawyers and the judges. He worked hard to obtain the best results for me. I would have no reservations about recommending Tom to anyone. You will not be disappointed. Btw, I found his fees reasonable and accurate. He worked diligently and got me a very favorable settlement. I could not be more pleased with his representation of me.

Tom is the worst thing to ever happen to families. If you are at all concerned with preserving your marital estate, run far and fast from him. Quote directly from Tom "we will have a grand time filing motion after motion until there is nothing left" While some might think this is meant to inspire cooperation, he doesn't walk that walk he keeps things as contentious as possible and will not participate in reasonable settlement discussions. So the true take away from that statement is "I have no problem taking all your money, I don't care if you lose your house, your business, your job, or are unable to support yourself or your children once I am done with you." He will keep you in court until he has transferred most of the value of your marital estate into his pockets. He needs to have his license revoked immediately before he does more irreparable damage.

I was referred to Tom by a friend and thankfully had him handle my divorce. Very knowledgable and helpful. When it got to trial was when he really came through. I am forever happy over my choice.

I was leary of hiring this lawyer because of rumors of his unavailability. At first he was available, but now when my most important issue, custody is at stake he's disappeared. There is a lot of miscommunication and since you don't get Tom directly and are left to deal with his paralegal Howard a lot of information gets misunderstood. In the end it's your fault because you are the one doing the misinterpreting. Their billing is out of control to say the least I'm two months into my divorce and I've paid $18,000 already. Their biller is a monster don't be deceived by her nice grandma voice. They will tell you to use Debbie to answer your legal questions for free however, she is not able to field your questions when you get into the details of your divorce. Tom paints a great picture during the interview and then later tells you your evidence won't prove anything. They scare you into settling when you don't want to in order to settle the case. I'm extremely unhappy with my choice.

Tom is only interested in Tom. He does not care about you or your spouse or your children, and certainly not preserving the value of your marital estate. In fact, he looks to take as much of it for himself as possible. He is ridiculously uncooperative in settlement negotiations, or with your spouse (this might seem good to you at first, but it is costing you dearly). Remember you only get to split what's left over and you may be responsible for your spouse's legal bills too. He does know what he's doing but it is mostly for his own personal gain.

Thomas Campagna is one of the best if not the Best family attorney in New York. Unlike what I heard about other attorneys he really cares about you and your family and advises you accordingly. Some of the best reviews I got while Tom represented me were from other Attorneys in the court house that said "I would wish you luck but you have Tom you don't need it". I will sum it up by saying he is Compassionate, understanding and very fair. He tells it the way it is, even if sometimes you don't want to hear it. He sets your expectations then he delivers. I would and have already recommended him over and over again. Best advice I could give you is retain him before your spouse does...

Tom Campaga is by far the most talented, effective, knowledgeable and personable matrimonal attorney. I filed for divorce in 06' and although I divorced officially in 08', my legal battles have continued. If you have an ex that is relentless and litigious, Tom will win every time. He has the innate ability to present your case with what It takes to get you the result you are looking for. He is an expert at discrediting witnesses and is an amazing trial lawyer. I have been through the most horrific divorce including almost losing my child from parent alienation and he made justice prevail under the worst of circumstances. I recommend Tom all the time, he is the reason I have sole custody of my son and for that I will be forever grateful. He truly cares.

I am NOT a celebrity and Campagna's fee was TOO high. I didn't feel represented especially for what I was asked to pay, so I switched to another lawyer for my divorce, I get more attention, pay less and I am happier.

Both Tom and Ettore ("Ed") worked with me on my case, and I couldn't be happier with the results or how they both treated me. In fact, I wish I could rate Tom even higher than "Good", and rate him a "Great" in all categories. Very human, compassionate, professional, and the bill is very reasonable.

Tom is without question the most learned, honest, quick thinking attorney you could find. His court room demeanor is above all the rest. He does EXACTLY what he says he will do and is more than fair with his billing. He was our second attorney & thank God we found him from another extremely happy client. Results speak for themselves. He is also very accomodating with his schedule. He took us through the Supreme Court & the Appellate Court with flying colors. I recommend him constantly.

Totally overbooked, forgets kids names, ages and gender after working on the case for over a year. If your like me make sure you keep track of every minute and you will see over billing, not sure why "Ed" works with him but the few times that he worked with me because Tom was to busy he did an outstanding job and was much more effective. Tens of thousands of dollars were wasted on "4-ways" and useless academic exercises. if he worked the other side the way he worked me im sure I would of seen the results I got from the second lawyer I had to hire to go back and fix all his mistakes after the divorce was final. great at the first interview with his "lines" on how he knows the other attorney and "this is an easy case" be carfull

Thomas is a smart and decent man. Although he seems very squeezed on schedule, he is clear thinking, competent and concerned in a truly human way.I inetrviewed 3 other attys before choosing Tom. My case is still pending, but so far he has been fair and up front when it counted. That may not seem like high praise, but in comparison to other atty's that I have met, it is qute laudible.

I was represented by Mr. Campagna and the outcome was, in every way, sucessful. The parenting schedule was exactly as I requested. The financial settlement secured a life for my children and me. I was treated fairly and attentively. I was schocked to read the 7/27/09 review as that was the opposite of my experience, as well as that of my friend who was also sucessfully represented my Mr. Campagna. I have come to beleive that the negative 7/27/09 review was written by my ex! In fact, Mr. Campagna was exceptionally competent and caring. I was billed for the work performed and the billing was fair. He communicated effectively by phone, e-mail and text and cell phone. Mr. Campagna and his entire staff was professional and respectful. I would highly recommend Mr. Campagna.

His total lack of focus, overbilling, unavailability was only overshadowed by his inept billing practices and zest to charge for anything possible. It's true that you get MAYBE a 30% chance of him calling you back but the guy will get you results you're looking for. I went through two other Attorneys and this guy got me the settlement of the century. Very connected in the "legal community" and he is the guy I would recommend to any of my friends getting a divorce because he will get you the fairest deal(and in my case so fair it was UNFAIR to the other side lol). He will frustrate you if you are the type of person who's hand needs to be held or always talked to (but at $$$ per hour, why would you want to waste the money?...). You need to trust that he is working it through and if it does get to litigation, he's the guy you want. Bottom line: Not cheap but worth the money and you will be happy after your 1st day in court. Thx.

Tom Campagna is the lawyer you want to hire if your getting a divorce. I came to Tom after being with another atty and could not have been more pleased. He is an intelligent, fair, detail oriented atty who makes you feel as if you truly matter. He saw me through the worst of times and his support never waivered. He is an unbelievable trial lawyer and at the same time is well liked by the judges. His staff became like family to me during my time there...and I will be forever grateful that I chose Tom Campagna to handle my divorce. He gave me my life back.

Watching him try my case made me feel like I was in great hands and I was thrilled with the outcome. The communication problem I had at first (he sometimes did not promptly return all of my phone calls- although he always eventually got back to me) was resolved with prompt emailing and text messaging. I think he is on trial quite often. He has a staff of associate attorneys who are very responsive and knowledgeable. One is a former family court judge. I would recommend this firm for family and divorce law. I don't think they do anything else."
