DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY, He will only take your money and seat on your case. He was “defending “ my best friend but he didn’t do anything to defend him. He wouldn’t give any information to the family because they were not his clients, but he did receive the money from the family not from his client. How can someone defend their selfs if they are locked down? He was expecting my friend to do things that he couldn’t do from jail. He was rude to the family and also to his client. Judging him without even reading his charges. He will only reach out to the family when it was about money. If you don’t care wasting your Case and money He is the one you need to hire. Now my friend is in a hard position because his unprofessional work.

I agree with those who said: DO NOT HIRE THAT LAWER! Will took my case, got the money, kept changing the court date, forgot to show up, suggested me to plea guilty (just to get rid of the case). I would suggest to look somewhere else. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY! He acts as he is a total SCAMMER!

Oh let me tell you something about this attorney. DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY BECAUSE HE IS PATHETIC, INCOMPETENT,INCONSISTENT, HE WILL GET YOU LOCKUP IN A HEART BEAT, NOT THAT HE GOT ME IN THAT SITUATION BUT I HAVE DEALT WITH HIM BEFORE. HE WILL JUST TAKE YOUR CASE LIKE" MC DONALDS" AND ONCE HE IS FULL HE JUST FORGOT ABOUT YOU AT ALL. HIS COMMUNICATION STYLE IS WEAK, HE WOULD NOT CALL YOU AT ALL, THEN DURING THE COURT TIME HE IS ALWAYS LATE I MEAN NEVER ONTIME, THEN HE WILL MAKE YOU PLEA GUILTY JUST TO GET RID OF YOU ORYOUR CASE.. I have retained Ruben for a couple of our familie's cases, and I can only say, that he is one of the best attorney's out there! I always recommend him to all my family and friends and have yet to have a bad remark. I would suggest that you meet Ruben and make your our opinion of him.

The last poster had it right. Any lawyer worth his fee will be busy because so many people want him for hus or her case. Plus, it's not always easy to keep the schedule clear. It's not like the judges will coordinate their cases to accommodate the lawyer's schedule! Some hearings run longer than others, which is understandable. I've known Ruben for awhile, and I've always found him to be hardworking, honest and sincere. His clients are important to him, but like anyone, he wins some and he loses some.

one thing is that not one single lawyer that is any good is gonna remember your name exactly unless you have a high profile case. he'll need his planner. its the way it is. all lawyer have high case loads. thats the way it is --if a lawyer has enough time on his hands to make it to all his court cases on time and take all of your calls, then hes desperate for work cause hes not worth a crap... its the sad state of the system. yes, ive had him personally for a pretty small case.. and ive had others. its all the same -- you just got to be sure theyre competent enough to handle the case cause really, all cases are a dime a dozen to the courts and the lawyer has done the same thing a million times.. there is nothing special about each one although you wish there was. i know..sad but true.

I am warning the public DO NOT hire this guy. You might as well go with a public defender and save yourself all that money. I signed up with him because it sounded good at first but once you pay him, he will NEVER call you about your case. He ALWAYS shows up late for court, most of the time your the one who has to remind him that you have court that day. I have talked to other people and they tell me the same thing too. When do you call him he doesn't even know whats going on because hes not even working on it. I had to give him SOOO many ideas and strategies in order for me to reduce my sentence down. He doesn't care about the person case. All he cares about is taking in more cases, collecting money from then leaving those aside till sentence day. He doesnt do any REAL attorney work. In a nutshell, if you have a case and you need someone to fight for you dont hire him. You will regret it so bad.
