The absolute unprofessional nature of Mark is completely absurd and shocking calling me and my entire family brats and firing me as a client is outrageous! I cannot believe this I simply expressed my frustration with the way things are handled without raising my voice or using offensive language. After having Mark not show up after saying that he would but not even that the fact that I was told he wouldn’t be here while I was in the middle of court is appalling. I would have expected at least an hours notice before the court and an explanation of what I was to do in court by myself. Before this multiple times he failed to provide me with correct information about my case until I myself looked into it and found out what the correct information was and the correct papers I was to bring. I basically did all of the research that Mark was supposed to do and found out what to do with my case since he was incorrect on several occasions. Never met a man so disrespectful egotistical and lazy.

Because the case was still open till recently, I have not been able to post. In 2018 I hired Mark to represent me in a Modification case. He was impossible to get ahold of, never responsive, and did not follow my wishes. He actually signed court documents he was specifically instructed not to sign. Grievances were filed with the state board. It cost me $25,000 to correct his mistake and 2.5 years in court. DO NOT USE HIM!!

I went to speak with Mr. Lane to look into modifying my custody order. I showed him all the proof I had and he was extremely honest with me which is rare to find amongst family law attorneys. He nailed my situation right on the head. Told me there's no reason to hire an attorney yet and gave me some pretty sound advice. I have sole managing conservator ship already so believe me when I tell you I have a main order, a modification to that order and was looking into a 3rd modification so I know the process forwards and backwards. He was honest, professional, told me part of the problem is because I react and to ignore the other party. Explained my order throughly! You honestly will not find a more honest attorney. Thank you Mr. Lane for working me in immediately for a consultation, for explaining what I already had and giving me the wake up call I needed. Your honesty and demeanor was greatly appreciated.

Mr. Lane is the bessstttttt. he tore my ex to shreds in court. him and his staff are crazy helpful. It might take a few days to return a phone call but you'll always get one back. They got my case done w the best results I could've hoped for. I would recommend him to anyone have custody issues

This attorney was good to start with, very proactive. When a situation with my job forced me to relocate this firm stopped communicating with me an stopped providing case updates or advice. Before left 14 messages in 35 days only one call back (still no advice. This office became very rude and submitted their withdrawal of counsel for the same day as a hearing that they never informed me of was set. I went to court for the withdrawal of counsel I was slammed with a new hearing no notice of it. With the information withheld from me by this firm I lost custody of my daughter to her mother who had not visited her for 2 straight years. This is the best attorney my ex-wife could have ever had. Their lack of communication has cost me not only their attorney fees and the custody of my daughter but the added expense of gaining adequate counsel to represent me. I am still in the process of undoing their inadequate and non-communicative representation.

Mark Lane represented my daughter in a extremely complicated and nasty divorce! I was very worried for her at first, but after Mark got involved my worries were put to rest! He is an extremely good attorney who looks out for the best interests of his clients! Mark and his wife are devote Christian people who really care! I would feel very confident in recommending Mark!!! Even though My daughters divorce is final... He and his wife still look after her! Thank God for Mark Lane!!

I feel very blessed to have had Mark Lane on my side. He made sure that I was taken care of. Horrible Attorney! !!! Paid Mr. Lane several thousand dollars and only went to court 1once time never got the real results i wanted thought about reconciliation with my husband and got talked into it being a mistake only to be fooled by his wife and him again in there so called meetings well those meetings cost me more than 10,000 mor dollars than they should have never sent a bill out probably because ge wanted to bill me up more. They will act like they want to help and be there for you but in the end it is only for them to get a bigger pay from the clients that are going through a stressful time.

Mark Lane is without a doubt the best Family Law Atty I've ever dealt with! He's quick with solutions, honest, fair and has compassion towards your situation. Very intelligent, foresees whats around the corner and is prepared to act. He has a tremendous amount of compassion for his clients, children involved and the overall best interest of clients family. Certainly the one I would want on my team and certainly NOT the guy I would want to be against me!

I hired Mark Lane about 2 years ago, which was a BIG mistake. I gave him my credit card to charge the billing to. I would NOT do this because he will charge it without your permission. I thought my case was over when he had last charged 500.00 to my credit card. I called him as soon as I saw it on my statement and that's when he told me he had to file paperwork with the court. Three months had gone by and the whole time I thought we were done. He said the charge was in "anticipation" of filing the paperwork. By the way, that charge was on the last day of the year. You can bet that he was trying to make as much as possible before the year end.

This guy is worthless. He basically stole $3000 from my girlfriend who was set to have a custody hearing. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY! Unless you want to just donate money to his retirement fund because that's what you'll be doing. Anyone is better than this guy.

I finally found an attorney that cares. People always write bad reviews when they are mad and want to blame someone else for the mess they got themselves in. I've gone through a couple of attorneys & finally found one that genuinely cares about family. Mark Lane is the best! My difficult 2 year case finally got handled!

I would never recommend Mark Lane. He never follows up or returns emails or phone calls. He gives you the impression that everything will be fine. I found out I was officially divorced by calling the courthouse. He is worthless!

I found Mark Lane and his law office to be completely unprofessional, incompetent, and unreliable. Receiving notices for court hearings from his office MAILED ONE WEEK after the actual court date, unreturned phone calls, being alerted by THEIR office that paperwork was ready for pick up and then being informed on arrival that they have no idea who told me that information, etc. My experience with Mark Lane has left me with disgust and disbelief that a person with such a lack of integrity exists among our community.

I hired mark about three years ago to do a decree modification for me after being sued over back child support in the amount of $14,000.00. It is true that he does not return calls but when he walks into a court room he is all business and is very up to speed on your case. I now have full sole custody of my children and all $14,000.00 was erased even though my bank accounts had been frozen. Mark made sure that the accounts were released and the money was left alone. I did not hire mark for custody but he fought and got it for me. He is a very good lawyer no matter what the reviews might say. If you are up front and don't hide things that he finds out in consult with the other attorney he will fight tooth and nail for what is right. I will use him again for anything i have legal issues on. $5000 is a cheap price for fighting for custody, fighting attorney general, unfreezing bank accounts, and two appeals cases over 3 years.If you wanna talk to him try making an appointment.

My opinion of Mark Lane is he is totally unprofessional. I am glad I had an intial consultation because it kept me from making a HUGE mistake of hiring him. He spoke to me like I was an idiot (by the way, I am educated with a college degree) and that my past issues made me a horrible mother. Excuse me, but there was no alcohol, drug, jail time, or even CPS involved. If he felt like he was 'saying it like it is', then go ahead but I will spend my money else where. He even lowered himself by calling me a name about my physical appearance as I started to get up to leave his office because I was upset and not going to finish listening to him. Sound professional to you? Beware! I am just glad I found out in the consult and have already contacted another attorney that will receive my business along with others that I will refer. Just my opinion and experience.

I hired him to file my uncontested divorce paid him $1200.00. He didn't show up for 1st court hearing. I got temporary orders. My soon to be ex got called up to go to Iraq. Called his office and talked to Vera his assistant, she said no problem notify them when he got back. I did, he was suppose to refile. Thought he did. Come to find out two years later that he didn't said that he would need another $500.00 to refile. Paid him again. He never refiled just took my money. Went to the state bar he just resigned being my attorney. Out $1700.00 for a divorce he never did. Husband and I never fought over anything. We are friends just don't make good husband and wife. Found out how to do a divorce myself. I wish I would have known would of been a lot cheaper. Don't use Mark Lane he is horrible.

I hired Mr Lane over 2 years ago for a Motion to Modify Child Supprt (we were the respondent). He said lots of great stuff when I interviewed him but after he got my money he did nothing. He does not return calls, confuses hearing dates, does not follow up with anything, completely ignores you and when you do ask him questions he gets upset and says "I don't have to take this". Asked for help from the State Bar Attorney/Client Assistance program and Mr. Lane's response was to withdraw from the case. If you want an attorney to actually work on your case and do what he was hired to do THIS IS NOT THE ATTORNEY YOU WANT! His lack of response has cost me over $25,000 in child support! DO NOT USE!!
