I would NOT recommend this attorney,please I warn you,do not use her for your case. She is no BIG HELP with my friend case. My friend has been fighting custody battle over a year and half, her case should have been finish, but it's not, Alice is dragging her case, taking her money, not responding back of none of my friend telephone calls, text, etc. She speak to Alice Secretary more than her own Lawyer. Alice holds back any information, don't share documents. Alice rather see my friend lose custody battle than winning. My friend has been losing time, money, & heartache over her case. So before, clients decide they need a Lawyer, find someone who cares, because Alice is NOT the person for you that will represent your case.

The worst attorney I have ever dealt with. Took a huge retainer, nothing was done, and did not return any of the money.. We are sanctioning her. Stay away from her.

I used Alice McQuaid for my divorce and custody case. She did an excellent job for me, and between her and her staff, all of my questions were answered promptly.
Alice won my case for me and did not overcharge me like some attorneys do! I feel strongly indebted to her and would recommend her highly to all of my friends going through the difficult process of divorce.

motions are not filed in a timely fashion. She does't follow up on case, basically she doesn't work for you. It's like you're representing yourself.

Alice is very difficult to deal with. She never retuns calls, does not respond at all. She does not share the documents recieved by other party, does not clarify the court procedures and most of all does have any sympathy for the person undergong the divorce. Its a double treat of Frustration when we used Alice to represent and fight for us. I will not recommend he to any one. She is cheapeest but do not fall for this price becuase evntualy she will drag the whole deal by not responding over a year anyways.

Attorney McQuaid has represented me in both personal and business related matters for several years now. She is by far the kindest and most compassionate attorney I've ever dealt with. She truly cares about people. A characteristic not very common when compared to others in her field. She is extremely bright and knows how to get positive results, even in unlikely situations. Attorney McQuaid has always been very honest with me and tells me how it is, one of the many things I respect about her. I was very surprised to see ANY negative ratings but must admit being a business owner myself, you just can't satisfy everyone. Attorney McQuaid will continue to be my attorney for any future legal services I may need.

Very few attorneys practice law with the passion and compassion that Alice McQuaid posesses.She works tirelessly for her clients, and once you have spoken to her,you quickly realize that it's not just about money,like it is with so many other attorneys! Alice is representing me in a custody / visitation case. She fights for me the way I need to be fought for. I tell her every time I see her that I am grateful for her help. Pay no mind to the negative ratings on here, they really are not true. Her girls DO call back, and they ARE knowledgeable. I would refuse to retain a different lawyer. In my eyes, Alice could do no wrong! And her fees and retainer are very realistic. Space is limited on this forum, but I cannot say enough about her! Sincerely, Mrs. Heather Martins

My case was(is) complicated - granted. But, the knowledge needed for my case was limited. Communication was poor - if there was a description worse than poor I'd use that. In three years I got Alice on the phone 3 times - (once a year approximately)and I called dozens of times with no returned phone calls at all. Tenacity was non-existant. Work Quality - my situation was so critical and still is. Her quality of work was a direct result of my situation. To your face she sure made you feel like she'd get the job done but once you walk out of her office door - forget about it. You'd mind as well be representing yourself. You'd more then likely do a better job anyway. Don't waste your money...Value - you get what you pay for!Although Alice is very likable, it's true. But, she doesn't adhere to the ethics of representing her clients. My kids and I suffer (in poverty) while my ex-husband drowns in his wealth.

Attorney McQuaid has been my Attorney for the better part of 10 years for various situations including but not limited to divorce. I have found her not only professional but extremely knowledgable in each and every situation. Anyone who says differently is just chewing on sour grapes. Perhaps things didn't go as expected but when you sign her retainer and have your first free consultation she explains to you each and every step that will need to be taken towards winning your case but makes no promises. Each and every case is different and each and every case has a different outcome. Her retainer is clear and her honesty is precise. If she feels its going to be a tough case she will tell you up front and she tells you what to expect from beginning to end. I recommend her to everyone. For those who write negative comments, apparently things didn't go the way you had hoped. There are no guarantees in life!

Alice is one of the worst lawyers to deal with. Never gets back to you and never seems to get the job done. The only thing is she is cheap so you get what you paided for a waste of time.

My experience was unpleasant, she never returns calls, her staff is incompetent, I did most of the research and forwarded to them. She claimed motions were filed, that never were, she never follows-up. She's very knowledgeable, but not reliable

Attorney McQuaid handled my divorce. She did a great job keeping me in check during a long drawn out process. She worked to assure that there was a fair settlement, not just for me, but my children also.

Never returns my phone calls or takes weeks to return my calls. Forgets to look into things that were asked of her weeks before.
