Worst family court judge ever. Its unfortunate for us, but Im so glad I found others that were victims of this horrible person, not worthy to be called a Judge. She's scum. I know my vote counted, when I saw her pic on a bus running for Judge, I happily went to the polls to vote against her and she lost! Vengeance is mine said the Lord and I would be so lucky to see the vengeance brought to Susan Rankin.

As a presiding/ visiting judge in a final trial in a divorce court in April 2017, she'll awarded my wife with all the liquid assets worth millions of dollars and left me with $637 worth of cash. She had private communications with the opposing counsel which is against the law. She kicked me and my two daughters out of the house that he resided for 17 years and awarded the house to my ex-wife completely and we are now homeless looking for a rental place. Her unfair ruling even amused the opposing counsel and my wife. SHE ruins family lives without remorse! SHE IS A MONSTER!

Went before her as a judge. She definitely sides with attorneys she knows. My attorney turned on me during the trial and I was given supervised visitation, psyche evaluation, only given credit for back child support I was owed. His abusive history wasn't considered real, but all fake CPS reports on me were considered the truth. Even with the father admitting he didn't care about putting our child through unneeded CPS visits to get custody. She does not need to be on the bench. She has to be a psychopath and narcissist.

She ignored child's outcry indecency of father with him. Child said on video Matt pees in his mouth and she still gave him unsupervised access after finding dad is bipolar and criminal and drug use history. He has no job and dodged child support. She ruled in his favor although child outcry that Matt pulls his "pee per real hard" on video. Please help

Horrible as judge. She sides with other party based on relationship with their attorney. She sits mute for our full day hearing, but chums it up with the opposing attorney about personal items. She loves being G-d on her standup podium and then taking tow months to make a ruling with absolutely no review of the facts of the case. Corrupt lady..stay away unless she is personal friends with your attorney then it doesn't matter the facts of the case.

I went in front of her family court recently. She gives joint conservatorship to a man who openly admitted use of marijuana on same property as his tow minor sons of 3 and 11 yoa at the time. this man also admits use of a firearm in a domestic violence incident which was not reported to police. but he admits in open court. he also admits while drinking but not "****" hit his son on the head accidently....and he didn't even want joint conservatorship. I am so freaking frustrated.... is she a racist? I am not white.. he is and she is....what a JUDGE

Worthless attorney who cashed my retainer check and did almost nothing for me. Reported to Texas State Bar. Apparently this ex-Judge thought she was a psychologist. Was sanctioned by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychiatrists. This daft & loony so called 'attorney' missed 2 court appearances and continued to bill me. Even asked for cash as she claimed to have problems with the IRS or some such baloney. Did not resolve or help my custody case. Had to fire and re-hire a new attorney who was a 100% improvement. WARNING! DO NOT HIRE THIS HACK. A TOTALLY USELESS PERSON WHO SHOULD NOT HAVE A BAR CARD.

Attorney Susan Rankin represented a friend of mine. I watched her in court and I kid you not, she actually made a couple of rulings as though she was the judge! Rankin was admonished by the real judge. Mentally unstable is a good word to describe her. I'm not a lawyer, but the grandiose promises Rankin made to my friend never came to fruition and only confirmed to me that I wouldn't let her represent me even if it were free! She made promises she couldn't keep, bragged about who she knew & what they would do for her. None of it happened! In my opinion Rankin is either delusional or a pathological liar. Maybe both.

I woke up one morning after six years of marriage to find my wife had left me, cleaned out my checking account, and taken my kids - I didn't know where. All I got was a call saying I better give her what she wanted in the divorce or I would never see my kids again. I was referred to Susan by a friend and she was a lifesaver. She was able to get my kids back with primary residence and custody for me. I truly can't imagine what my life would be like if I had not met her. She is an excellent attorney and a former judge. She knows how the family court system works in Dallas and she knows the other attorneys. I can't believe anyone she represented would think otherwise, and I would wager that the bad comments on here are made by people who are angry because she beat their lawyer in court.

Susan Rankin presided over the divorce of my son. During the years she held office, the ex-wife's boyfriend molested the child, the ex-wife bit the child's finger and broke it in a fit of rage, the ex-wife descended into alcoholism. But everytime she showed up in court to lie, Susan Rankin would not allow my son to speak in court. She ignored investigations from CPS. However, she assessed excessive child support over legal guidelines. Rankin jailed my son based on the ex-wife saying he wasn't paying support, although it was being deducted from his paycheck. He lost his job. After 30 days, she called him to court, instructed him to get another job and he would be on work-release indefinitely. This woman is unethical, unfair, immature and leaves children vulnerable to unfit parents. She makes it up as she goes. I would add racist. After Rankin's defeat, my son was granted full custody by Judge Cherry who was clearly able to see the injustices under Rankin's biased rulings.

So, instead of the biased reviews from people who were angry because of her work as a judge, how about a rating from someone who actually used her as an attorney. Susan was thoughtful, considerate, and someone I could rely on in a time of need. I would highly recommend her to others.

Susan Rankin was voted OUT as a judge in Dallas. Research this woman. Brought up on charges for misleading the public about false claims regarding her credentials. My child and I were also victims of Susan Rankin in her court room. She ALWAYS ruled in the favor of my ex-husband. Now, years later, and able to make connections, she is partners with my ex-husbands lawyer. She appears far from have practicing ethical law while on the bench. Susan Rankin is corrupt both morally and ethically. She threw favor toward her soon to be partner Ms. Rochelle. While I was able to prove perjury, she ignored.I had an MMPI performed on my ex, which was damning to my ex, she ignored.if you are in a case against her, check her connections such as psychologists such as Jan Delipsy.Do NOT agree to any of her recommendations.If you love your child, do not hire this woman. Not enough space to list the the damage and corruption she exhibited while on the bench.

she took my daughter. Been told by several attorneys it never should have happened. treated less than human in her court. this almost cost me my life. i still struggle and can't work, eat, or sleep. the daughter she didn't take is married, in the church choir, and in business for herself and recently bought her first home. She's not even allowed contact with her younger sister because of judge rankin. I've never been so disrespected in my life. truth does not prevail in her courtroom and her friendliness with the attorneys seems to be the way she rules. i wish former judge rankin could come live with me for one week. When I'm up with a nightmare, I'll awaken her. when I've gone for three days without eating, she can't eat either. She's deserving. she has no idea what a mistake she made in our case.
