Only supports terrorists and criminals effectively and people related to them. Honest individuals are treated rudely and if you have lots of cash then he is your buddy. Know that he represented that ISIS girl in Syria as pro bono in order to boost his image. Philanthropist acts are only for image and PR.

Ambulance chasing shyster is the term for this type of lawyer. Well known to the Police and Ruling Class and to the Criminal Class. Same difference. Who would question that Greenspon is a stooge of the Crown? After he takes your retainer he contacts the Crown to determine how or what he will negotiate for the Crowns benefit not yours. If desired by the Crown, or Police, Greenspon will make slight effort, substantial effort, or, no effort to defend you from Criminal Justice. In the 1986 assassination of Street Vendors from Ottawa streets Greenspon was hired to protect the interests of the Licensed Street Vendors from: Fraud on the part of the City and its Patent Agents; Restraint of Trade on the part of Cadillac Fairview and Rideau Center; denial of our Grandfather's Rights, and; an absolute abortion of Eminent Domain. It would be cheaper to pay a prostitute than be sodomized by Lawrence Greasyspoon. Cursed be Lawrence Greenspon, QC. & ALL company he keeps to the amount of $20 Billions.

I solicited this lawyer's help, and he didn't even show up for my initial hearing! Left you wondering if he'd abandon you when/if things got 'hot'. When its your (or your family's) well-being at stake, find someone else!

Lawrence Greenspon is a community pillar, generous with lending his fame to local charities and other causes. But as a lawyer, he falls short. He does not seem to stick too closely to client confidentiality; he overcharges for services farmed out to his assistants; and he did not bother with the important details of my case when he filed the court papers. This cost me tens of thousands of dollars in lost remedy. Also, his extensive work with people who are politely best described as "the underdogs of society" means he is not comfortable dealing with honest, average people who are not, nor have ever been, in trouble with the law. Go see someone else. I did.

I was involved in a high profile protest in 1989. It was tent city at Lebreton Flats. We were charged with illegal camping. Greenspon came to us and offered his services. He said he would use the argument of necessity and constitutional rights to defend us. We agreed and gave him our paperwork. Then he showed up at our first hearing and said he made us deal. All charges would be dropped if we shut down the protest. We refused and he withdrew his services because we would not following his instructions to fold the protest. We ended up self representing. And we received not convictions. Charges were stayed.

Roger Clement is being represented by Lawrence. No idea what good he is doing. He has violated the publication ban on this case and made public statements including "Anarcist" "Bombing" and that he doesn't agree with the philosophies of his clients...Where does this guy get off?!! Epic Fail!

Absolutely the worst lawyer there is. Never had a legal problem in my life but should have caught on when the police said I could get a new lawyer in the morning. Very arrogant, under the impression he had not even looked at my file as he changed his story every time I met him. Not punctual and rude. Save yourself the stress and hell that I am going through right now. GO WITH ANOTHER LAWYER!!!!

lawrence was recommended to me as the best in Ottawa. My case was turned over to his assistant because he said he "might know my wife". His assistant ignored my repeated requests for updates on my case. Very unprofessional but expensive. The only advice they gave me cost me three days in the PODS. Who do I charge that off to?

Very prestigious lawyer but accessing his skills is quite difficult and the process becomes very frustrating when your case is given to one of his understudies.
There are better choices that are far more reasonably priced....keep looking
