Move to another attorney. Unreliable, zero communications, unprofessional and down right rude when you complain about their non-response to normal legal processes, like getting a retainer out to you. Don't pay her for a consultation. Google her on Yelp.

She is my current opposing counsel. I’ve submitted 4 emails dating back to January 29th. I’ve heard nothing, her staff hung up on me today when I asked if they could simply provide me with a time frame of when she might get back to me...they continued with “when her schedule dictates”. She’s unprofessional, and offered to “bet you $100” that she could call a psychiatrist that she was “very close” with and he’d not be willing to accept what we were talking about...pretty sure that’s illegal lol but I digress. The psychiatrist then disagreed with her and she would not talk to him after. She’s unpleasant and tries to woo you in with some kind of charm she learned from the aborigines. Like all the other posts on here, AVOID. And if you’re opposing her, please follow my lead and submit a formal complaint with the state.

I am grateful and indebted to Lori and her entire staff.
I had two previous attorney's and 3 years of mounting attorney bills. My case was going nowhere. My former spouse was relentlessly trying to move my kids up North, and I was in jeopardy of losing most of my time.
With one chance and one chance only to block her from uprooting my children and moving them away from me, my family and all that was familiar to them, I called Lori.
The move away request was flat out DENIED! I cannot tell you how thankful I am to Lori and her staff. They changed my life. They changed my kids life. They made me a better person...a better dad.

Truly a vile and unethical attorney and human being. I was hesitant to retain her but did because of her promises. I didn't care for her name dropping and claims that she's personal friends with the commisioner, child custody evaluator and opposing counsel. Never did a single thing she had promised and only spoke to me one time in the 8 months after I retained her. She left me in a far worse position than I came to her in after respresenting myself for a year. Had her incompetent and condescending staff contact me but only for payment requests and began demanding specific sums of money the day of scheduled hearings and conferences or she would not attend them. When reminded of her unfullfilled promises she demanded I sign a sub of attorney and represent myself because I couldnt afford her services, all thru her staff of course. I retained because she promised to immediatly file for my ex to pay my lawyer fees and she continually ignored my requests to do. BEWARE!

Lori Clark Viviano is unethical and she is a prime example attorneys get such a bad rap. She will continue to promise you everything as a client. I am surprised how she has not been disbarred and can only imagine she receives her business because when you meet her at your initial meeting as I did, she hooks you in like a used car sales person.
BE WARNED!!! You do not want to have any dealings with her. She acts without any thought of her actions and aside from her sheer incompetence her actions will leave you in a situation where she will drop you should it not go the way she wants.
Her rates are outrageous and when she brings in her so called specialists they are just as incompetent as her, obviously she’s getting kick backs and they are all in it together.
Don’t take my word for it do your homework and shop around, don’t say your weren't warned!!

I trusted her despite the fact I have read so many bad reviews over the last year and half. The reviews on yelp all mysteriously get taken off. All of her unhappy clients should get together. Had 5 diffrent paraglegals on my case in 1 year. Her staff makes a lot of mistakes. She had nothing resolved in my case. I was getting no support, child care fees for over a year. Spent thousands of dollars on discovery she never intended on using. She partially settled my case outside the court room while judge was waiting. She calculated my child support incorrectly and cost me thousands in support because she didnt know my income or my accounts although she had all the information. Then she wants nothing to do with me after! She would not complete the judgment as she said she would tells me to go to DCSS and sends me a correspondence she dictated full well knowing it is incorrect saying I owe her $50k when the balance is $6k. She cost me way more than that.

STAY AWAY!!! Lori, despite the bad reviews, was hired for x reason, and it is truly regretted. She is a MONEY HUNGRY lawyer, and will settle your case without any effort to help other way. At the beginning she played friend, and boy did she have me wrapped around her finger. She even told me she would not charge me, and that she would charge the party I was going against when she won my case, or in this case settled it; yet, she ended up charging other party AND myself because she took money (same amount she charged other) from the settlement! She then committed an error with court paperwork, and when she corrected it, well you guessed it, she CHARGED me AGAIN! For your own sake, stay away from this lawyer; she is inept, money hungry, tacky, and plain naiveté when it comes to law.

Lori never returned phone calls or emails. She pushed her job off on her uneducated staff. She actually terminated 2 staff personal because they miss handled my case. When we called we always poke to a different person and got different answers. Seems like no knew what they were doing there, unorganized and unprofessional. No representation to speak of. Lori needs to go back to nursing.

very irresponsible; she ignored a lot of information that I provided wich could have helped my case, like the fact that my child's father is addicted to drugs. She also neglected very crucial files that never arrived to the judge's hands, and she was a friend of my ex husband's lawyer and did not tell me; both of them managed my case the way they wanted..years later I found out that she told her friend that she did not believed in me but was going to take my case anyway.This is my experience: she was very unprofessional, charged me a lot of money every time she blinked at me and then did not show up in court the last day and sent an assistant instead.

She sold me with her 'compassion' but later was a b*tch when I questioned what certain verbiage meant to me before signing a final agreement with my ex. She had her young staff handle most stuff, they made mistakes; things that she should have reviewed beforehand. Seemed that she just wanted me to go away once she 'settled' my case even though it wasn't the outcome I requested and we discussed when I interview her. During my deposition she was buddy-buddy with the opposing counsel; while he was hardnose. I would never have used her and could never in good conscience recommend her. Also, she told me she concentrates on representing men and I can see why. She is blond, attractive, bubbly and charming. Don't let that fool you, though...
