Matthew is incredibly knowledgeable and capable. He got me better results than I thought possible, dealing with a very difficult opposing party. His communication lacks frills, and he is not a mental health counselor. However, I needed a lawyer, not a counselor or frilly emails. He did call at certain times to make sure I was doing ok, which was much appreciated, and enough kindness to help me through a difficult time. Matthew got the job done, was straight to the point, and did not waste my time or resources. His billing practices are much more than ethical. For as much work as my case took, I was amazed at how little he was billing me! I am thrilled I hired Matthew and am eternally grateful to him for helping me get out of a damaging marriage. I highly recommend him, unless you want a hand-holder instead of a highly skilled and efficient legal representative who will do everything within his power to protect you and your family.

I had an amazing experience with Mr. Dudley. If you want to win you NEED and want him on your side. He will go above and beyond for you but only if you take his advise! Where do I start? This guy is a piece of work from head to toe (and when I mean head, the guy's hair is whacked). He is as cheap as he is worth. He has no life at all, so devotes his life to defending his clients, who are as scum-baggy as him. Thankfully he hasn't spread his seed, but it's truly frightening that a man as immoral as he is representing innocent children when not only does he have no clue what it is to be a parent, he is satanic. He definitely doesn't have their best interests at heart; he is only interested in winning. When family law should be about what's right for the child. And he has quite the knack for talking out of his ass in court, making up things as he goes, and rambling on and on to the judge. He's rude and callous and an all-around jerk. Stay away.

Mr. Dudley represented my nephew in a long contentious custody battle which ended successfully in my nephew's favor. He was the ultimate professional and provided excellent legal advice at a very reasonable cost. My family is extremely grateful to the efforts of Matthew Dudley and if I ever need the services of an attorney, he would be my first choice.

I've been a client of Matthew Dudley since June 2007, my court case has finally finished as of November 2, 2012. Mr. Dudley is an excellent a lawyer, he is a true advocate for children. He has done everything possible to make sure that my children are safe and secure. Over a five-year court battle my ex she had six attorneys, the top legal advice of Spokane. In this time Mr. Dudley has never given up, never stop fighting for what was best for my children. Everyone in my family has retained Mr. Dudley as their lawyer. I have recommend to all my friends. He is the most ethical lawyer that I know of. Thank you so much Matthew.

Dudley is AWESOME!!! He knows what he's talking about. He doesn't work "normal" hours so he has time to get everything done. Expect calls at 8pm and 6am, but he always informs you of the info you need! His commitment to your case is amazing. People are complaining about how he works, who cares..he does his job and does it well. Those who don't like him probably didn't listen or follow his advice. He knows the law, not you...that's why you hired an attorney. He's wonderful in court and the way he makes his points is inspiring. Other attorneys we dealt with did not have nearly the tenacity he does and that's why he is able to accomplish things that others can't. Like people said, he's a very busy man, don't waste his time and in turn you won't be wasting yours and he doesn't nickel and dime you like all of the other attorney's in this city. He is worth every cent you will pay him, but you have to listen to what he tells you!! Hire Dudley if you want a straight shooter and GREAT LAWYER!!!

Matt was my sister in-law’s (Alyssa) attorney for a custody case and I helped hire and pay. He did not keep Alyssa in the loop at all on court dates or proceedings. His paperwork was satisfactory, but communication was terrible. Court dates would come and go, but she would not know about them until her ex mentioned them. When Alyssa asked Matt about the outcome of the hearing, she would go days without hearing back. Additionally, in five months we have yet to receive an itemized bill. His retainer is cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for. I would never recommend this attorney to others.

I stopped by to see if another attorney was able to handle our case, She was slammed and referred me to Mr. Dudley, who came out wearing a dirty, smudged oxford pinpoint shirt that looked as if it had been worn for a week or more and not wearing any shoes or socks. Then he told me off for not knowing the law in my situation. I hardly got a word in edgewise and felt talked down to. Glad I checked here first before going any further with this guy. Keep your kids out of this office. Weirdo dopers hang around the dope shop next door to the law offices.

If you need someone to fight for you, this is your man. He represented me in 2004 and I have hired him again. I love that he doesn't have a secretary. You call, he picks up. He is absolutely an East Coast native and is DIRECT and to the point. Doesn't mess around. He doesn't care about your "story" just wants the facts so he can get things moving and resolved. I would bet that those who have responded in an unfavorable tone have been on the other side of the courtroom!!!

he dumped me after I paid him a retainer because of a mistake on my part which could have been fixed. His own ego and lack of creativity to protect me were costly...be careful

Mr. Dudley is a extremely good lawyer. He is worth every penny. His communication could be a little better but that is only because he gets straight to the point and expects you to as well. He did everything I asked him to do he is very well organized and amazingly on top of everything. If you are getting divorced get this lawyer, you will be glad you did.
