I initially hired Mr. Bodow for a friend's DUI and he did a great job and then again when I was charged with Marijuana distribution in 2014. After my arrest I had my girlfriend find an attorney. She mistakenly hired Mr.Bodow knowing I had used him in the past. She dropped off 186k in cash to him. He hired a federal attorney for me with 70k since he has no experience trying federal cases. He then attempted to keep the remainder of the funds and was unreachable for over a year so I was forced to file a formal complaint with the CA bar association. The day before his license was to be suspended he called me at the jail. He pleaded with me to withdraw the complaint and offered to return part of the funds. I accepted whatever I could and consider myself lucky to have received anything. I'm giving a brief overview so that I might possibly save some future grief and misery for someone. I'd recommend him for DUI's or minor traffic related crimes but given his blatant dishonesty I'd run!

I read the other ratings on Jerry Bodow and can't understand how anyone would rate him anything less than a 5. He was absolutely awesome. The Alcohol screener at El Cajon Court House even commented to me how unsusual it was to see a lawyer help a client through the screening process like he did for us. This lawyer really cares! His fee was also very reasonable.

This lawyer cares about his clients and has a great deal of experience! He gave me his cell phone number, and we spoke often on weekends. I would refer him to anyone who needs an attorney. His fee was reasonable and he kept me up at every step of the process. I felt comfortable with him I also sent him two friends who were very happy with his services.

Jerry handled a DUI case for me and his services were great. I don't know what the other people's experiences were with him, but I never had a problem reaching him or being kept up with case status. His staff is very professional and almost always answered my questions. I got great results on my case and would recommend him to anyone.

Good in the beginning and things go down fast once retainer is cashed. Main logic is to get a plea deal and avoid a time consuming trial, even though his court demeaner and speach is very good, getting it with a winning attitude was probably years ago.

Mr. Bodow was quick to answer my fist call. After that things were down hill. He was late with getting papers from the DA and often time it took weeks for him to get back to me. Mr. Bodow is defiantly not a phone person and will seemingly put the face on in front of you and in the end you will be disappointed. He finally achieved my goals with the case but only with mere luck.
