Paul assisted us in a CRT matter. He communicated with us regularly and clearly, guiding us through the process. All submissions were filed promptly. He easily understood the circumstances of our case and determined the salient points to present to the tribunal for a decision in our favour. He was a pleasure to work with.

Mr Mendes has very limited or none at ll knowledge regarding Strats Condomiium act and laws. He provides in accurate advise which violates the law and the bi-laws He is not Wirth the money and time Personally I do not think he should be practicing

Please do your due dilligence before hiring this person. He is extremely unprofessional and surprisingly lacking in knowledge although coming across as very knowledgeable. I’ve dealt with many lawyers in the past. This has been terrible representation right from the early stages. Find someone else for Strata representation of ANY kind! In talking to another lawyer about my complaints they said...”oh him.” Run! Save yourselves! Use your money wisely and hire someone that knows what they’re doing and doesn’t pass the buck (but charges it anyways). Hope this was helpful because it sure was honest.

Mr Mendes wasn’t the main lawyer on my case (they worked at his firm). It’s clear that Mr Mendes cares about all clients in his firm. He asked one of the lawyers on my case to check in with me-he was concerned about how I was coping (I follow him on Twitter), and took the time to message me. If all he cared about was himself or your money, he would have never of done this!!! Although, I have never spoken to him, it’s clear that he takes his profession seriously. This gentleman has a formidable team in his firm, has a wealth of knowledge, and is clearly passionate about he does.

An unethical, shameless, unprofessional lawyer. A big mouth who defame people and had to apologize to the The Law Society of British Columbia. He knows the law but used his knowledge to defy the law.

We just had one hour consultation with Paul. In this session he didn't tell me even one thing that I already didn't know. However, he still not only charged me for that first session, but also for the time that he had read my documents! When I complained, his secretary even threatened to sue me if I don't pay!!! I just paid to stop the harassment.

This guy is an excellent condo lawyer. He helped us resolve a noise complaint succcessfully. He came highly recommended by more than one lawyer.
